Been here?
A paved motorhome area on castle grounds with a small park and quiet, idyllic surroundings. The current price is 18€ per night plus 2€ for electricity, but water, garbage and sanitary facilities are unavailable. Grey-water disposal is possible, and payment is made in an envelope at the entrance. Wismar is 10 km away by bicycle, while shopping is 3 km away.

The site is very quiet and idyllic. The operator charges €18 for fully self-sufficient stays plus €2 for electricity. We had plenty of space because it was not overcrowded. For health reasons, the operator currently cannot provide the sanitary facilities. However, he is very nice and happy to help. We can really recommend this place to anyone who can stay self-sufficiently.Translating
I do not want to speak badly of the place, as it may be restored someday. When we arrived on a Saturday, it seemed deserted and somehow creepy. There was nobody there except us. We left again. It reminded us too much of an abandoned place. A shame; otherwise, it seems to be a quiet site.Translating
The place is okay, but nothing more.Translating
Actually a beautiful, quiet parking area. €18 without any services, only gray-water disposal is possible. A little expensive. Unfortunately, it is also somewhat overgrown, though still within reason. A single trim would make a big difference. We were woken in the morning by the rooster and the ducks/geese in the neighborhood. Nevertheless, I had a very quiet night.Translating
We spent a quiet night here while passing through. It is also accessible for larger vehicles (9 m long and 3.9 m high). We did not use the services, but they would have been available.Translating
Actually a nice pitch BUT very poorly maintained ... there is only an overgrown water connection and a very hidden disposal point, that's it .... and for €18 + €2 electricity, we'd rather go somewhere else in the future.Translating
We always like coming here, even though everything seems to be getting more limited at the moment. Current prices per night are €18 plus a flat €2 for electricity. The peace and quiet is worth it. The very active rooster next door doesn't bother us. Water and rubbish facilities are still unusable. In the village there is at least a glass recycling container. If you need more, you will have to find another place.Translating
We spent a quiet night here. Our dog felt comfortable. Everything that is and isn't available is stated in the description, so you can't complain.Translating
Hi, a beautiful and quiet place. Electricity was available in the middle. Grey water is best emptied using the toilet cassette. The only drawback is the lack of water. But you can make provisions. The lady was also very nice! We will definitely come back!Translating
We spent a very quiet night; the pitches are well marked, with grass and shade; currently the area has no services, only electricity. It lacks a little maintenance, which is a shame because the area may disappear. Payment is made by leaving an envelope with the money in a mailbox at the entrance by the fence. Let's be honest.Translating
Quiet place for one night. According to campers who have been coming here for a long time, the place is apparently going to be completely closed. No toilets or showers are available anymore, and the rubbish bins can no longer be used. The only things still working are electricity and wastewater disposal. Registration and payment are now only through a form that you put into a mailbox on the fence at the entrance.Translating
Great pitch, but the operator seems to be having financial difficulties at the moment. Wastewater disposal is possible, and electricity is currently available. NO FRESH WATER. Payment in the lockbox; very nice people there.Translating
Many thanks to the team for providing the place. This was our third time here and we always enjoy the peace and quiet! Dear motorhome people and other users, this place also needs to be maintained, so pay the fee without complaining. Have a good onward journey!Translating
Neglected maintenance of the pitches and no water at the outdoor taps.Translating
We stayed by the castle for one night. We could barely hear the rooster or the motorway; the night was very quiet. The owner was very nice and showed and explained everything to us. Very beautiful and peaceful surroundings; we would come back anytime. One star deducted because the sanitary facilities are showing their age and the grey-water drain is poorly marked.Translating
A very beautiful and quiet place. The operator is very friendly and helpful. Completely quiet at night, and the rooster crows in the morning. It didn't bother us at all. You are in the countryside. One request: please turn the water on again as soon as possible.Translating
We drove away immediately—the electricity box was out of order, and the generator on the neighboring property was clearly audible. The castle pitch has about the charm of an Aldi car park (without the cars); everything is run-down, neglected and done without care. Check-in with an envelope was confusing—where should it go? No explanations whatsoever. An absolute disaster of a place—I didn't even find the toilets/showers.Translating
Beautiful, very shady pitch. On weekends the rubbish hut is locked; on weekdays you have to pick up a key, and reception is not staffed at weekends. Currently (15 September 2024), electricity is unavailable at the rear pitches. Service facilities available.Translating
Beautiful little place arranged in a circle, with water and disposal facilities. The disposal point is on the right beside the entrance gate when leaving (easy to miss), and the shower is opposite the fire station. You get the key when registering. We could not dispose of rubbish on Saturday.Translating
If the rooster bothers you, you shouldn't go to the countryside. The place is great, with electricity directly at the pitches and excellent water/waste disposal right at the entrance. Envelopes for payment are in the little hut. Please don't forget to pay and take your rubbish with you. Top place for dogs, very good for walking them, and very quiet. We liked it very much.Translating
