Poolside parking, overnight rules unclear

Large parking area above an outdoor swimming pool with lane pool, waterslide and restaurant, set beside a rock garden and railway line. Reports on overnight stopping conflict: some spent a peaceful night or two undisturbed with fantastic views, while others were politely told camping/overnighting is not welcome here. Noise varies - quiet in the dead of night but constant road traffic at other times. Pool, showers and toilets are usable in summer.

Camping or spending the night in a motorhome or van is not wanted here. We, in a self-sufficient van, and another small van were politely informed of this despite behaving inconspicuously inside the vans. Please respect this request and do not use the parking area as an overnight pitch.
We accidentally stopped at this one instead of one further down. We ended up staying as the rain was awful but we’re glad we did! Perfect spot! Not disturbed at all! The road is quiet, the car park was empty other than 1 other motorhome later on. Perfect spot with fantastic views and right above a swimming pool
Quiet during the central hours of the night, but noisy the rest of the time. It is next to the road and traffic noise is constant (cars, motorcycles, trucks...). Other than that, it's not bad.
We slept one perfect night, with zero noise and no disturbance. In the morning you wake up to a wonderful view.
