Not a great experience, it’s not a campsite, more a parking lot, the pitches for caravans are tiny and very tight. The motorhome pitches are a good size at 12m but although our motorhome is 12m we were told told to move to the scruffy dirt patch which is the most uneven patch of ground we have ever stayed on, we were threatened with calling the police to remove us if we didn’t move. Awful place.

I have a minicamper, although it is registered as a motorhome, and after a thorough inspection by the manager I was allowed in. However, it is also low season. I can imagine that played a role. I can confirm the other comments about the sanitary facilities, motorway and registration. I think the value for money is absolutely fine.✦Translating

This is not a campsite, but a parking lot. If you want to use the swimming pool, play tennis, or get to the city center, it is fine. The sanitary facilities are naturally awful. Registration is extremely annoying; everything has to be filled out twice. I even had to show my dog's ID. Never again.✦Translating

Well, honestly. The best campsite so far. Okay, the registration is too complicated for me. Otherwise everything is perfect. Very safe and clean. Not so crowded since it is low season. I felt really comfortable.✦Translating

Excellent camping, handy for the Targus estuary nature reserve (15 euros entry and a 13km drive down a dirt track). paperwork on entry is a bit long winded. You have to get the electricity box unlocked by staff to plug in and remove your cable. Quite a long walk up and down hill to town centre, a taxi back was 6€, well worth it in my view. We ate at 150 grammas, highly recommend.

We wanted to stay for one night, but it became two. A very well-maintained campsite. The sanitary facilities are basic but very clean. Card payments only, no cash! The staff are extremely friendly. The Museum of Neorealism is worth seeing and can be visited free of charge! The only disadvantage for those sensitive to noise is that it is very loud because of the nearby motorway. But the campsite cannot be blamed for that.✦Translating

Wonderful campsite in the city. It is very clean and the pitches seem new. White concrete grids filled with white gravel. You feel as if you could eat off the ground. There is seating on the wooden veranda, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I paid €16.22 for one person, three dogs and electricity. Anytime again!✦Translating

Safe and inexpensive campsite, ideal for visiting Lisbon (a 20-minute walk downhill to the station plus a 25-minute train journey). We paid about €48 for 3 nights without electricity (with 2 cats).✦Translating

It is a shame that we had no choice of pitch; for those who like seclusion, this is not the right campsite. We were all packed in like sardines while the other camping pitches were empty. With a cat, we paid €20.20 in low season for 24 hours, no Wi-Fi. The rules are far too strict; we wanted to leave as soon as possible.✦Translating

Perfect camping spot for Roadsurfer users on the night before the return day. Very safe, organized and neat place, toilets and showers are a bit old but very clean. It is also provided with black and grey water disposal, and water refilling. Recommended.

Campsite with beautiful pitches. Very, very secure (I have never seen anything like it). A 25-minute walk from the station; it is downhill, ideal for visiting Lisbon, which is uphill. For the return, take a taxi from the station, €4.20. Great place for visiting Lisbon by train. Good places for motorhome on hard standing. Showers and toilets not as good as the rest of the place. (no locks on toilets, a few euros would rectify this). Train and day pass for all of Lisbon €11.50.

Good place to leave our motorhome safely. Specific motorhome area. From the campsite, 20 minutes to the train station. Regional train transport to Lisbon takes about 45 minutes. At the station itself you can buy a 24-hour unlimited travel card for €11.50. It covers all Lisbon transport.✦Translating

Very bad. We came with a new van with a bed inside and they would not let us in; they only accept motorhomes. A disgrace; they say it is company policy. Very classist.✦Translating

Good motorhome site. We stayed here for two nights and paid €50 for five people and two dogs. Electricity is good and the disposal station is new. The showers are like something from a movie: if you shower at 11 p.m. in strong wind, you think your life is about to end.✦Translating

Very nice campsite, adequate sanitary facilities. Close to the station for Lisbon, a 20-minute walk, ideal with the €11.50 pass (train, metro, bus and tram). We paid €58.08 for a motorhome for two nights. Downside: €10 per night for a trailer and motorbike, parked in a very secure car park.✦Translating

A beautiful campsite with designated large motorhome pitches, tent pitches and caravan pitches. Everything is clean and/or currently being renovated. The service and disposal facilities are new and very, very clean. Plenty of clean showers. Perfect for visiting Vila Franca Xira and Lisbon. We felt very comfortable and safe. Excellent campsite with all amenities, spacious pitches on stabilized ground. The railway station is about a 20-minute walk away and allows you to reach Lisbon. I recommend taking the one-day ticket with metro, bus and tram for €11.50. Recommended.✦Translating

It is a municipal facility within a sports complex. Very clean. Relatively convenient for going to Lisbon: 20 minutes walking and 20 minutes by train to the center. Very friendly reception staff.✦Translating

The site is somewhat outside town (20 minutes on foot to the station, 20 minutes by train to Lisbon). It is very safe and much has already been newly built. The sanitary facilities are being renovated. The price is great and I can highly recommend it. Dog-friendly!

Very nice campsite with everything needed for a good night's stay. The only bad thing is that every time you want to connect or disconnect the electricity, you have to notify them so they can unlock it with a key.

Campsite with a renovated motorhome area. Very old bathrooms; if you are a little tall, the shower head hits you on the head, but otherwise they are clean. To visit Lisbon, we bought the Navegante 24-hour card for €11.50 at the station, a 20-minute walk away. It can be used on commuter trains, the metro, trams and buses in Lisbon. Therefore, a good campsite for visiting Lisbon.

Municipal campsite where the swimming pool is only open in winter. Very useful for visiting Lisbon, with access to the station 20 minutes on foot.

Excellent campsite for visiting Lisbon. With Bolt it takes 40 minutes and costs only €20. Very friendly staff. The only drawback is that the pitches have no shade, so it gets very hot during the day, and there is no washing machine, although there are sinks for hand washing. For two nights, one motorhome and two people without electricity, we spent €33, so recommended for visiting Lisbon in peace!
