290 Avenida João Paulo II, 4750-304, Barcelos
Been here?
Free mixed parking on clay, with shade and some spaces suitable for campers up to 6m80. It is close to Barcelos and about 13min on foot from the center, with the Thursday market nearby. The site can be quiet at night but becomes busy and noisy around the school and market, so arriving before 8:00 a.m. is advised on market day.

Good spot for our motorhome; we spent a quiet night here before the Thursday market, which is a very convenient 13-minute walk away. I recommend it. It gets busy on Thursday morning, so park carefully to avoid damaging your motorhome.Translating
Avoid it. Parking is difficult, with many cars passing through and a great deal of noise. We left after 30 minutes.Translating
We spent one quiet night in this park, but the conditions are terrible. The park has no services or shade and is very busy because it is next to a school. Unfortunately, despite all the tourism, the options for motorhome travelers in Barcelos are poor. The park is close to the center of Barcelos.Translating
We spent one quiet night here. It is a 13-minute walk from the town center. On Thursday morning, we saw the huge market in the main square. Apparently it is the largest market in Portugal.Translating
Good for spending one night. There were two motorhomes. Two people talked until 1 a.m. The place is a little noisy.Translating
Ideal because it is close to town. On the other hand, there is a lot of traffic. But you cannot have everything!Translating
Very close to the historic center of Barcelos; we spent a quiet night.Translating
Perfect parking for visiting the Thursday market; arrive before 4 p.m. the day before. Otherwise it is very noisy and there are no services.Translating
Best option to sleep in town - or to park for the day. Free and safe, close to centre and restaurants. Quiet at night, in the morning gets busy. Fairly level and a couple of spaces available. Better than parking in the road in front of college because the parking areas are narrow-and lots of buses.
Better than parking on the street. Some spaces are flat, others slightly sloped. I parked my 7.20 m motorhome next to another, slightly larger one, without problems. I visited all the indicated areas in Barcelos, and this seemed the best to me.Translating
