Les Lesines, 01110, Hauteville-Lompnes
Been here?
A scenic waterside parking area suited to a break or walk, with fishing and a pleasant setting. Current lake works leave only 2-3 motorhome spaces, requiring vehicles to park lengthwise beside the fenced grass. A separate parking area with around 40 spaces has a height restriction.

Very nice for a break or a hike, for example to the waterfall. Finding a parking space for motorhomes is a matter of luck, as current redevelopment of the lake means there are now only 2–3 spaces, where vehicles must park lengthwise. The grassy area is surrounded by a wooden fence. Unfortunately, a car park with around 40 spaces has a height restriction. We did not see any signs prohibiting motorhomes or overnight stays, nor any water supply.
Pay attention to where this parking area is located: it is marked prohibited except for authorised users and people with reduced mobility. A 40-space car park has been built across the road, with a 2-metre height barrier. We parked at the roadside for one night because our vehicle is 2.90 m high; it is quiet at the end of October. We did not see any sign prohibiting motorhomes. Picnic table and several hikes starting from here.
Beautiful, quiet place! Currently there are no signs here prohibiting parking for motorhomes or overnight stays. Three spaces without a height restriction are available.
Pretty, but probably better in summer, as it is still cool at the moment; we came down to find milder temperatures! No services, a few picnic tables, two barbecues, and a lovely setting. Be aware that there is nevertheless a sign stating that motorhomes and camping are prohibited.
Beautiful place. Very popular with people, fishermen, and dog walkers. The police visited us and told us to put out the barbecue fire. No water comes from the tap and the toilet is closed.
