Quiet mountain parking, rough access

Beautiful place without facilities, but with a camper that is not a problem. Amazing view and lovely walking. Be careful: the road there is challenging, with many hairpin bends and narrow sections. You need to be experienced and hope not to meet oncoming traffic. We slid on a bend, but reversing a little and getting a run-up helped. I would not dare it in heavy rain. We spent the night here with five campers. Great starting point for walks. The road there costs 50 NOK for a 4 km dirt road. Overnight at 1,100 meters, so cold and very windy. Very quiet, though. No facilities.✦Translating

Beautiful, quiet, a cold stream near by. Good gravel road till the end. Agree that for normal car and a smaller camper or van.

Magnificent place! Easy access by road, payment by credit card at the barrier. For the hike to Peer Gynt Hut, the bridge across the river was washed away during heavy rains, so it is impossible to reach the refuge without getting your feet wet.✦Translating
