45 Skovalleen, 9900, Frederikshavn
Been here?
This small parking area on the outskirts of Frederikshavn is useful for a night before a ferry. It is slightly sloping, the access is narrow, and ferry-related arrivals and departures can make it somewhat unsettled. A nearby toilet, restaurant, botanical garden, museum and historic viewpoints are within reach.

Since we were taking the ferry the next morning, this place was very practical. Because many people park there, board, and then leave again, the place was somewhat unsettled.
We arrived here at 1:00 a.m. after the ferry from Gothenburg. Close to the harbor. Quiet place, but we did not sleep well. At 2 a.m. a car arrived, so you do keep an eye on things in a public place.
Great place to spend the evening and night. There's a toilet close by and do not forget to visit the big and beautiful botanic garden!
Very good for one night. Parking is quite small and there are quite a few cars. We had a good, peaceful night. The road is not very flat and a little dirt-covered, but that doesn't prevent maneuvering.
Quiet park up, couldn't find a totally flat space but ok. Sleep very well, no noise.
This quiet spot was a great place to rest after the midnight ferry ride from Sweden. Although it’s peak season, there was only one other van here when we quietly arrived at about 04:00. The next day we were delighted to find the nearby botanic, gardens, museum and historic sites. After lots of exploring the local area we decided to stay a second night.
Very pleasant site for one night before the ferry departure.
We had a quiet night here. Getting there with a Crafter was no problem.
A little sloping, but easily leveled. Narrow access, yet easy to reach. Suitable even for large motorhomes. Cozy restaurant opposite. We spent a quiet night here alone before the ferry departure.
