Waldstraße, 4730, Raeren
Been here?
A small forest parking area in beautiful surroundings, suitable for a quiet overnight stay and walks or bicycle trips. Access roads are restricted to vehicles up to 3.5 tons, and there are no services. The connecting road brings regular traffic, including occasional fast cars and trucks, but it usually becomes quiet after 22:00. The ground can be muddy in rain, and network and internet coverage are very limited.

Very nice place. Some cars pass during the day, but it is nevertheless quiet. You can start wonderful hiking or cycling tours from the parking area. Almost no mobile signal or internet.

We stayed here alone from Saturday to Sunday, but surprisingly many cars drove past on the forest road. It became quiet after 10 p.m. Very clean place, though somewhat muddy when it rains. No services, little signal.
Very nice place. As mentioned, the parking area is busy during the day with lots of cars coming and going, but very quiet at night. The road did not bother us. Very beautiful forests all around. Stayed two nights.
Basically a fine place for one night. There is a lot of traffic here, though. A truck also parked right next to my campervan. This is not really my kind of place.
Nice place to enjoy the sounds of the forest. Walk or cycle to the reservoir. The road is not bothersome. Just do it.
Fine for one night. Very muddy. Limited to 3.5 tonnes. Moderate traffic. The parking area was empty until morning, around 10:30.
The roads to this place are closed in winter, so you cannot get here without breaking traffic regulations.
Not worth it; the photo gives a misleading impression. It is a small parking area at a crossroads, fully exposed to view.
Toilets defective and locked. Behind them there is already a pile of feces and toilet paper.
