Free rest-area disposal station on the A2 near Neuenkirch, easily accessed from either driving direction just off the highway, behind the Avia petrol station. Grey and black water dump and non-potable rinse water are usually free and reliable, though several travellers reported the water taps out of service in past years. Overnight parking costs 8 CHF for cars/vans or 15 CHF for campers, with paid toilets/showers (about 1 CHF); a guard has moved people on and enforced payment. Clean site with mountain views, but motorway noise is noticeable overnight.

We just used this place for emptying. Super convenient and easy to access, right at the gas station off the highway. We used Google maps and it got us there easily.
The worst rest area ever experienced. Having parked in an OK space only for campers, we vere forced to move to another place by the socalled Security-Guard. It was due to the considerations for the a big number of trucks. We then had to a terrible night next to a truck with its motor running 8 hours. On top of this we had to pay 15 euro! (never paid for a resting area before)Translating

Great spot good 4g signal and only £12 for 24hrs. got my 7.4m motorhome along the single track road no problem.
