180 Plazako Karrika, 64250, Espelette
Been here?
This small, flat parking area beside the pediment is in the village center, about 3 minutes from the center and close to shops. There are few spaces, no water or electricity, and toilets on the parking area are closed at night. Access is narrow and difficult to reverse; 6m just fits, while a 7m camper has also been reported to pass.

Very flat parking area, very well located below the château-town hall, with few spaces. Toilets in the parking area are closed at night; there are also toilets on the ground floor of the town hall, open during its opening hours. On the first floor, there is an exhibition about Espelette peppers and an efficient, friendly tourist office. There are also bins in the parking area. Direct access to the village.
Excellent, quiet, flat location close to the center. However, 6 m is only just possible and you really need to keep your vehicle straight. Otherwise, beware of scratches, and reversing on the ramp is very difficult or even impossible. It is a one-shot maneuver.
Perfect. 6.20 m. Quiet and close to the shops. Basque aperitif ;-) Cool. Please respect the place :-)
As recommended, this location is perfect for visiting the town center on foot, three minutes away. Our motorhome is 7 m long, and access via the narrow one-way road is tight but very manageable without a guide. For slightly longer motorhomes, do not park next to the wall; park beside the grass and trees in reverse, and you will not even protrude beyond the pitch! I recommend it!!
Very good location in the heart of the village. Access is indeed a little narrow, but a Ducato fits through. Very quiet night.
No problem for a 6 m vehicle. Perfect for the night, in the village.
Small paved parking area, suitable for vehicles up to 6 m. Quirky access; the walls bear witness to it. See photo.
On January 3, the village was empty, and this place has perfectly level ground for leveling the motorhome. The spaces are for cars, but there is no prohibition and it is perfect for one night. The road down here is complicated and narrow, but a 6 m camper has no problem. It may be impossible in summer because there is little room to maneuver.
Full. The municipality is reluctant to welcome motorhomes. Given the terrain, it is unclear how it would be possible.
Frankly, we do not recommend this parking area for motorhomes. Perhaps it would be suitable for a van. It is really a car park, and a motorhome would stick out considerably. It is also difficult to access. And there are definitely not 28 spaces; there are far fewer.
Parking area right in the center of this lovely little village. Very good for one night.
