The place is fine for one night, but actually too expensive. The road behind it is noisy, and tuned-car or loud-motorcycle show-offs drive back and forth. There is a wakeboarding facility in front of the pitch, which is relaxing. Sanitary facilities are clean and okay; the sauna is more suitable for cold days. Grey-water disposal was closed. Horrible place. Terrible organization. Nights are far too noisy; you cannot sleep. Completely dishonest. They sold me a pitch with electricity, and after two days two campers arrived and positioned themselves near my pitch; one of them was using my electricity because three of us could not connect. We stayed here for two nights and had a great experience. The location is close to everything in Västerås, making it easy to explore the city. Despite its central location, the area is calm and peaceful. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, which we really appreciated. Overall, a convenient and pleasant spot that we would definitely recommend.

Average overall. The view is rather unspectacular and the grounds are functional but nothing special. The sanitary facilities are not new, but clean and well maintained; the sauna is a plus. Beautiful location but the showers are very old fashioned and not well kept. The services for fresh and black water is a bit far away and to get rid of the grey water you have to go far away. Definitely not worth the extremely high price for a night.

The camper pitches are on a fixed gravel surface near the harbor along a main road, and unfortunately are not enclosed by barriers or anything similar. Reservations are recommended. The sanitary building is a bit of a walk. Entry is via the day code in the email. A washing machine and dryer can also be used from €5. The city center is about 1.5 km away on foot.✦Translating

Nice place by the harbor and lake Mälaren. Many nice restaurants nearby. Only 10 mins walk to city center or 5 mins by bike. Explore the city by bike is a very good idea. Book in advance. Search for vasterasgasthamn (Västerås gästhamn).
