Lakeside parking, weekend evening noise

The spot is nice in terms of the number of spaces and the nature right next to the town; we were not packed in together. However, on a hot night, a group of teenage girls stayed less than 10 m away, listening to loud music, laughing, and dancing until 11:45 p.m. We left.✦Translating

Great spot for either a day visit or overnight. Lots of people around in evening, then we were only motorhome there until another turned up late at night. Area felt safe as plenty of houses nearby. Great walks around lake and plenty of children’s play equipment. Toilet block was 100m from parking but did not use. Spectacular autumn colours on the trees. A perfect quiet night's sleep! I was concerned by the nearby housing estate & teenagers on bikes, also no other campers. But it's a park and it was a nice evening! What did I expect? I also couldn't find services or toilets. There were a few cars that came by around midnight, and I heard some distant music, but it was a great quiet sleep until 10am then I had a tea at the lake today! Perfect spot✦Translating

Spectacular place. We arrived late and it was quite empty and isolated, but previous comments on this app gave us confidence. The next day, we were surprised by how beautiful the area was, with the lake and children’s activities. I went running around the lake; it is spectacular.✦Translating

Large parking area by a beautiful little lake. Fairly quiet in the evening and busier in the morning. Toilets are available and free, but not very clean. We slept fine.✦Translating
