Secluded lakeside, narrow access

Perfect for a quiet night, has a very slight slope, 4G comes and goes. A lovely walk around the woods

Very quiet and a few spots are level but there is a slope. Nice walks or on Saturday morning it’s a 5km parkrun event at 9:30.

Beautiful place near the lake. Very noisy cows from the nearby farm :D

As others have said, zero phone signal. The access road is also a little narrow unfortunately. To avoid this, you can park in the car park just off the road. Aside from that, quiet park up with nice dog walks.

Stayed here on a Wednesday night and there was one big motorhome and one small van and us in a big van. Arrived at 2130 and left at 9 in the morning. Quiet night but would not stay here if there was more than 3 vans and would also arrive late and leave early as it used by locals for walking. Also zero phone signal or data.

The place is really beautiful and probably quiet at night. BUT while we were here, a drunk driver arrived in the evening and first urinated next to his car, then slept for an hour. Apparently it got too cold for him, so he left the engine running directly in front of our van for over an hour. When he started the engine again around 3 a.m., I went outside.✦Translating

Quiet, clean place. Also perfect for a rest day. Great for dog owners, as the dog trail is excellent. The locals are incredibly friendly. No facilities, and the network is very poor, which did not bother me. Absolutely recommended!✦Translating

Great park up, we had a very quiet and undisturbed night here. Surroundings provide shelter from the wind. No bins, no facilities or signal here but views are great, walks around & small picnic benches.

A nice and quiet spot, relatively flat too. Forest trail is just a few steps away. Only con is the absence of reception/internet connection.

Loved this spot! The weekly local parkrun (Castlehaven) starts here on saturdays 9:30am

A beautiful paved parking area in the middle of nature! There are opportunities for a walk by the water and benches for breakfast in the sun. But beware: there is dog mess here and there!✦Translating

It is possible to spend the night peacefully. Be careful: only one vehicle can pass on the road. There is not much traffic in the evening, but quite a lot in the morning when heading down. I sent my co-driver down to block the traffic.✦Translating
