5 Podwale, 32-600, Babice
Been here?
A quiet, natural riverside spot behind the embankment, suitable for an overnight stay and occasional anglers. The ground is flat but unpaved, and access can become extremely muddy after heavy rain, with a narrow embankment road for larger vehicles. The water and nearby lake offer walking and summer swimming. There are no rubbish bins, so everything must be taken away.

We spent one night here because we wanted to visit the concentration camp. During the day, several anglers came, all happy that I was also an angler. We slept wonderfully peacefully and could spend half the day here. Completely dry and easy to drive on.
Attention, absolute mud pit! Be sure to inspect it on foot first! It took me 30 minutes to get out again, and I had to sacrifice a cupboard door as a sandboard.
Very quiet. In the evening, a few anglers and people walking dogs. Level but unpaved, so be careful after heavy rain. The lake and river invite you to walk and, in summer, to swim.
Warning. The man living next to this place is very vulgar and forbids entry even though it is not his land. Overall, the road along the embankment is very narrow. A somewhat unsafe route for larger vehicles.
We arrived after dusk and left before dawn. It was really silent, you can hear the water and the ducks nearby. Could be tricky after lots of rain, but we had no problem in getting there.
We stayed for about four minutes after being swarmed by gigantic wasps as big as small birds. If it hadn't been for the wasps, the place would probably have been perfect.
Ok spot for spending the night. I would say place for 4 campers if everybody parks socially at the 2 places available next to the road. Because of the standing water a lot of mosquitos and horsefly’s, so don’t forget the DEET. Other than that a quiet place and a good impression from auschwitz-birkenau driving towards it.
Quiet place in nature, ideally located behind the camp. Locals come to walk their dogs. Good mobile reception.
Site in a small village, close to houses but with no direct overlooking. Uneven ground, maximum space for two motorhomes. Locals use it to walk their dogs. You can walk along the river. Very quiet at night.
