Roadside picnic area, traffic noise

We spent a good, safe night here. Exactly what we were looking for. Of course you can hear the road, but it was fine. I can recommend the place for a stopover; I would not stay longer.

Very good place for a picnic. Beautiful view over Tuscany. Fairly busy road. Easy access coming from Siena; in the other direction it can be complicated unless you drive the wrong way.

Probably suitable for a brief roadside break, but we found it too noisy for a longer stay.

Suitable for lunch. Large motorhomes need good driving skills to park. We did not stay overnight, but I think it would work well.

We spent one night while passing through. Close to the main road but not very busy. The only drawback is that the place is quite dirty.

Good parking for a night. No special services / no toilets but we had a calm night. Just a pity that some people always need to leave their rubbish behind as it could be a nice place to have a picnic as well.

Decent place to sleep, but a real dump with no bins, and very noisy because of the heavy traffic at night on the adjacent road. Watch out for wild boar at night.

Excellent place! We stayed one night and were alone. Great view and a starry night sky—spectacular! Too bad there is not even a rubbish bin. The parking area is below the road; if you arrive in the evening, be careful because you might not see the entrance.

Good, calm place. Right next to the road, but the noise of the cars does not disturb us, we have a peaceful sleep. Safe. Even more than 4 cars can be accommodated with 4 picnic tables and good layout. Flat. The bonus is the gorgeous Tuscan views.

Dirty, poorly maintained and noisy—what a shame!

Top for a lunch stop or for sleeping as a last resort. A little close to the road but with a magnificent view of the Tuscan landscape.

Not suitable for campers, very tiny access, small parking places
