Landhaus Alte Schmiede

Wonderful place to spend a peaceful night in the countryside. Calm, no noice only bird song and frogs quaking. Don’t miss to take an evening stroll around the garden and perimeter of property. Restaurant super quality. 20 E per night for the Stellplatz. Adding this to my list of favourite stop overs.

Why someone writes that it is okay simply to use the space behind the fire station is a mystery to me. The forge and the fire station have nothing to do with each other. Simply parking at the fire station is illegal, according to the restaurant operator. Service and food at the forge are truly excellent! The meadow behind the forge is very quiet. Toilets available. Beautiful grounds. Breakfast available for €12; otherwise €10 per night.✦Translating

The Landhaus Schmiede is absolutely recommended. The food is delicious, the service is very good and the garden is simply a dream, lovingly and artistically designed. Camping is allowed for €10 on the meadow behind the house. A toilet is also available. Apart from frogs croaking and birds singing, nothing can be heard—very idyllic. There is also an excellent breakfast for €12.✦Translating

We were there with two motorhomes, four people, for one night. We stayed in the garden on the meadow. The food was good and the service was very nice, helpful and friendly. We were annoyed that, despite eating there, the four of us had to pay €40 for one night. At that dinner price, the overnight stay should have been included.✦Translating

Great pitch. Fantastic food, a small menu and therefore very, very good, plus there is also a children’s menu. We even booked breakfast (€12 per person). The pitch is quiet, on the meadow, with a toilet building on site. €10 per person. Happy to come back.✦Translating
