Been here?
This is a small daytime parking lot at an IKEA furniture shop. The spaces are small and the area is not very suitable for motorhomes, although small vans can fit. It is difficult to find a place because the lot is not spacious. The free bus to Oslo city centre is no longer available.

This is a small car park belonging to a furniture shop, with small parking spaces, so it is not very suitable for motorhomes. Small vans would fit easily, but finding a space can be difficult because it is not very spacious.
It is not the quietest place because it is next to the motorway, but if the other campsites are far too expensive, this is a good alternative. The free bus directly into the city centre is quick and very convenient. If you park close enough to the building, there is even Wi-Fi.
Excellent place to park, take the free bus and spend the day in Oslo. There is not much parking space, so large vehicles may have difficulty. Attention! There are two Ikeas in Oslo, and the other one offers the same bus service, so be careful which bus you take back. I have included a photo with the schedules for both buses.
14 July 2022. The first bus does not leave until 12:10 p.m. I modified the description; it was advertised as leaving at 10 a.m. The car park is small. Ten motorhomes filled it, which is not acceptable, so we left and went to another free car park on the other side of the city, near the hugely expensive Ekeberg campsite.
Daytime parking only, but very convenient: access to Ikea’s toilets and a free shuttle to Oslo. The bus stop is in the car park, along the side of the store.
Worked perfectly. We parked in the car park behind Ikea. After the bus trip, we also had a €1.50 soft-serve ice cream at Ikea.
