Perfect, description accurate. We spent an afternoon there without any problems until 8 p.m. on March 30. I was completely alone in the parking lot and on the hiking trails, so it was extremely quiet. No Iliad mobile reception. Level ground. No prohibition signs.
Ideal parking place for a walk in the forest. I was there on February 9 from 9 a.m. until around 2 p.m. The parking lot was almost empty; forest rangers passed occasionally. It felt safe.
Warning: camper broken into! According to the police, it is a hotspot.
Free roadside parking. Excellent for visiting the lake, having lunch at the refuge, or taking one of the many trails. Be careful in winter because it snows heavily in this area; some cars were stuck in the snow in the parking lot near the restaurant.
