ldt La Tour des Templiers, 82340, Dunes
Been here?
Shaded recreational site with children’s play equipment, picnic tables, a barbecue area, toilets and water. It is reached by a small paved road, although a very steep unpaved path also leads down and back up. Recent signs at the entrance prohibit camping and caravanning, so motorhome overnight stays are not permitted. The facilities are somewhat dated, and the toilets have been described as old and unclean.

Prohibition sign—is the ban also applicable to the upper area? An extremely steep unpaved path descends and then climbs again! Numerous tire marks and graffiti—is this a play area for young people? Otherwise, there are some children's play equipment, tables, and a toilet block. I could not open the tap; had it frozen? Dense fog below.Translating
Sign prohibiting camping and caravanning at the entrance. Move on.Translating
Splendid wooded area with toilets (old and not clean, but at least they exist), a large sink with a water tap, and a barbecue available for free use (bring your own grill), plus a picnic table. We were alone there in a self-sufficient converted van. Superb walks around the area.Translating
Indeed, a sign at the entrance now prohibits camping and caravanning. A truly relaxing place.Translating
We spent a quiet night with a water point and somewhat dated toilets.Translating
