Been here?
This quiet spot at Col de Bès is at 711m, with a large parking area, mountain views and a menhir at 100 m. Access is by a very narrow road suitable for vans only, with very little traffic reported recently. A tree can provide evening shade, and sunsets are excellent. Do not park in the fields below, which are private.

A very pleasant place to spend the night. An oak tree gave us shade for the evening, and we saw a magnificent sunset. Very few cars passed while we were there.Translating
Very beautiful spot with a large parking area, although it was very windy when we slept there. Narrow road, so be careful; very little traffic on the road, as we were there on a Monday evening.Translating
At this time of year, I was able to see the sunset and sunrise, alone at 700 meters altitude, at 18°C and staying dry. It is true, though, that you have to face the road to get there, and once you arrive, it is wonderful.Translating
Amazing spot for enjoying a starry sky and a magnificent view of the mountains. However, be aware that car show-offs drove past all night, honking right next to us to keep us from sleeping. I hope the next visitors are luckier and can enjoy it.Translating
Setting up in the field below is not a good idea at all. It is private land, cadastral parcel 0795. The best way to get our parking banned!Translating
An extraordinary view over the hills and the sunset. Absolute silence. You can park by the roadside or in a flat field accessible by van. No cars at all from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m.Translating
Very pleasant, even though it is beside the road. A few cars passed in the evening, then nothing was heard until 9 a.m.Translating
