A slightly sloping hikers' parking area on a small connecting road between Engstingen and Meidelstetten, with access for vehicles up to 6 t. It offers access to the Swabian Alb, including a 3km nature trail and cycling, amid beautiful heathland and greenery. There are no supplies or services, and the uneven ground can make levelling a van difficult.

Yes, you can hide here well. As already mentioned, it is not easy to get the van level. However, there is plenty of wood lying around. Unfortunately, previous visitors left rubbish bags here. I am taking them with me, but if van sleepers cannot behave themselves, it is no wonder that sleeping in vehicles is being banned in Germany too. Please behave yourselves!!!!!
Beautiful heathland. Relatively busy on Easter Sunday, but still manageable.
