Been here?
This large, family-oriented campsite at the foot of the Wendelstein offers more than 650 tent and motorhome pitches, apartments, swimming ponds, an indoor play area, children’s activities and a restaurant. The spacious circular pitches, modern sanitary blocks and Wi-Fi are generally well regarded. Recent reports describe prices of €45 per night with electricity or almost 50€, while another stay cost 43€ for a van and 2 adults. Transit pitches near the busy road can be extremely noisy, even at night.

This is rather a kindergarten and less of a camping. After the kids are bursting at the showers everything will turn into a mess. Nobody will clean the clogged drains. If you want to rest, look for a different place.
Huge campsite with more than 600 pitches, yet it does not feel that large. The very spacious pitches are arranged in circles, so there is little traffic. Large and clean sanitary blocks, good Wi-Fi, excellent restaurant, and a swimming-pond-style pool. But quality comes at a price: almost €50 for a pitch with electricity for two people. Still recommended.Translating
The sanitary facilities are excellent! Quiet campsite with lovely spacious pitches. It is clean and pleasantly green. We were passing through and stayed only one night. It is expensive, though, at €45 per night including electricity.Translating
A wonderful campsite in every respect. Don’t forget to order the French bread the night before—yummy!Translating
Very friendly reception. Beautiful campsite and very clean sanitary facilities. The bread-roll service is a little expensive but very tasty. I would gladly come again.Translating
It is certainly a large, beautiful site, but charging the same €38 fee in October plus €4 for a dog is totally excessive. Why? The restaurant and pool are closed, the very nice sanitary facilities are not heated, luckily the water was warm, and the site was completely deserted. Nevertheless, we had to leave by 11:00 the next day.Translating
A beautiful site. Everything you need is available. We will definitely come again.Translating
Nice campsite for a one-night stand or a longer stay. Lots of leisure activities. The sanitary facilities are good, but could use some maintenance. Everything is very clean, though. More rubbish bins should also be provided. Kaiseralm is fantastic, and the staff are funny and very friendly. All in all, highly recommended.Translating
Very beautiful and well-maintained campsite. We spent a very peaceful afternoon and night there. The washroom was very clean and smelled wonderfully of Swiss stone pine, and the food in the adjoining restaurant was also delicious. The pitches are well laid out; in high season, many travelers returning home stay here. Still highly recommended!Translating
Large campsite, but it does not feel that way because the pitches are arranged in circles. Showers and toilets are very clean and everything looks neat. We ate at the campsite restaurant in the evening. Simple menu, but the food was tasty and the staff friendly.Translating
Passing motorhomes are placed at the back of the campsite beside a very busy road. There is an incredible amount of noise, even at night. Pitches are poorly defined. Otherwise, the sanitary facilities are adequate and clean, and the pool is decent. €43 per night for a van and two adults is expensive for sleeping in such noise.Translating
Very neat! Large campsite with permanent visitors but also many short-term guests and travelers passing through. There is lots for children to do, such as the pool, various playgrounds, an indoor play area and activities. There is also a nice beer garden and restaurant. The pitches are neatly arranged in circular plots of about 20 spaces each. Very neat and clean sanitary facilities in wooden buildings. In short, RECOMMENDED.Translating
After booking and paying online the night before was told at checkin that my booking had been cancelled after the gentlman on reception eventually found it in the computer. Asked if booked place was available and paid again. lovely place and we had a brilliant meal in the restaurant.
Very large campsite, but the circular arrangement of the pitches makes it seem smaller. Clean sanitary facilities, although I would have liked soap dispensers at the sinks in the washroom too. Bread rolls can be ordered online—clearly a little more expensive, but they are large and really tasty! It was great! Very friendly reception and perfect for one night while passing through.Translating
Fairly large campsite with a good location, including for trips south. Large, easily accessible pitches. The restaurant closes quite early, which we cannot understand for the end of May. Sanitary facilities clean. Small, contactless mini-market. Online bread-roll ordering service with very steep prices. Very nice walking and cycling paths with great views of the mountains.Translating
Really nice camping with lots of space, clean toilets and nice surroundings. Good option for a stopover to/from Austria.
Top. Quick to reach and easy to relax.Translating
Very clean campsite, friendly staff, perfect bathrooms, several cycle paths nearby. A small stream runs alongside the campsite where you can bathe if you wish. All services included. €38.40 for one night for two people with a camper. Recommended. If you want to buy beer, there is a drinks retailer nearby with an excellent selection.Translating
A site with everything you need—not exactly cheap, but high quality.Translating
Complete campsite. Lots of space and an original layout. Restaurant is OK. Sanitary facilities are more than OK.Translating
A very good site, not far from the motorway but very quiet. The sanitary facilities were clean. Bread rolls can be ordered via an app. The alpine-hut restaurant has a small menu but large, delicious dishes. A great stopover site for us!Translating
