It can become less peaceful in summer or when locals use the park, with occasional road, transformer, school, or church noise.

The place is fine overall. The only downside was that teenagers had gathered there to play volleyball and drink alcohol. Things became quiet after midnight, but the church bell woke me shortly after seven.
Quiet little parking area; you can take a lovely walk along the canal. There is a very good bakery 200 m away. However, the parking area was full the next morning. Better to park here only during French school holidays.

Small, quiet parking area without facilities. Right next to it are a public playground and a school. As soon as we arrived, the gendarmerie paid us a visit, but we were completely ignored. It serves its purpose for sleeping, but do not expect more. We would gladly return.
Small parking area that is quiet at night, but do not count on sleeping late. Good for children, with playgrounds, and for dogs, with bags provided for dog waste. The town is under video surveillance. Thanks to the municipality.
