Lakeside overnight stop, daytime traffic noise

Magnificent view of the lake. Our children were able to go canoeing. The road behind is indeed very busy, but quieter at night. It did not bother us. I recommend it for one night.

Basic spot on the side of the highway with no facilities (does have a rubbish bin) was surprisingly still quiet. Stayed overnight was fine, enough spots for 4/5 people

Beautiful place, we enjoyed the view and slept well, but if you cannot tolerate the sound of lorries, I would not stay overnight. They make a lot of noise.

Fine for one night if you arrive from the ferry in the evening. The place is directly on the E10 and therefore quite noisy.

This is probably a good place to have a short rest along the road and the view was very nice but we didn't find it suitable for staying longer because, in summer, during the day it was noisy because it is close to a busy road.

Parking lot directly beside a busy road. Cars drive very fast here. Traffic is lighter at night, but it is still quite noisy. You can also go swimming here.

Very nice place for a swimming pause in warm weather but a bit noisy to stay overnight.

Beautiful view of the pond, but very noisy. We are moving on. In any case, the place is very crowded.

Place is very nice with stunning view at sunset. Keep in mind there is rock wall opposite side of road that amplifies sound from passing traffic on the road.

Just right for an overnight stay; only three cars stayed here overnight. Beautiful view of the mountains and lake. Although close to the road, I slept very well, even with the window slightly open.

We spent a quiet night here with other campers. The view of the lake is wonderful! Directly on the E10, but that did not bother us as we were only passing through. Perfect for that.

Parking along the E10, space for three or four campers. Very noisy during the day. At night the traffic decreases, but you can hear the cars when they pass. Fine in case of necessity.

A nice restarea for a night. Can accomodate quite a few units. I stayed with a 5 meter caravan, the spot was completely flat, no leveling needed. A bit noisy until around 11 in the evening. Nice lake for a swim in the morning.

We stopped here after a late ferry. There was quite a few motorhomes but managed to squeeze on the end. Very nice location overlooking the lake. It was a little noisy until 11 ish. Had a swim in the morning. Great little stop.

For us, this is a spectacular place with capacity for at least ten motorhomes. The views of the lake are incredible and although there is currently some traffic, as it is Sunday at 6:00 p.m., I imagine the night will be quiet. Thanks to those who recommended this place.

A beautiful spot next to a lake. it is just a large layby off the road and there is a lot of traffic passing from the ferry. However, it quietens at night and we spent a calm Friday night and were the only ones here overnight. Small bin and possible to swim in the lake.

Beautiful view, but the noise from passing lorries was already at the limit.
