Been here?
Porto Mario is a large motorhome area directly across the road from a clean sandy beach, with narrow pitches on lawn, gravel or sand. Facilities include electricity, water and grey-water drainage on many pitches, toilets, showers and a nearby bus stop. Showers cost €1, and the site also has a bar and pizza kiosk. It is often quiet outside high season, but the railway, road and busy families can create noise, especially in summer.

Good campsite for staying a few days. Tight pitches.Translating
Extremely friendly staff, beach across the road, very nice bar, good pizzas, truly welcoming staff. Well done!Translating
Excellent large camping area; cross the road and you are at the sea. We stayed in June and it was peaceful. The bathrooms are fairly clean, with coin-operated showers costing €1. We would return, but not in August.Translating
Well maintained, but two toilets are too few. We had booked two nights but left after one night because of the location (between the railway line and the road, with no attractive beach and, in April, a beach that was still dirty).Translating
We stayed for two days over New Year’s. The area has everything needed. Fresh water and grey-water drainage are directly at the pitch if you have a hose. The facilities (toilets and showers) could perhaps be better maintained, but overall it is an excellent area. Public transport to nearby towns stops just outside the gate.Translating
Large but quiet place, excellent for a stopover. In summer there may be too few bathrooms given the number of motorhomes it can accommodate.Translating
At the end of October 2025 the site was almost empty, but open and ideal for us. We paid €60 for four nights including electricity. Showers available with coins. Cycling along the beach 10 km to Rimini was great.Translating
Practical and (at night) quiet place in the off-season. We paid a flat €13 without electricity; a hot shower costs extra. Open from April to November. In high season, the two toilets would probably be far too few, but now they are completely adequate. The site seems comparatively well maintained.Translating
Excellent area for short or extended stays, because many pitches have electricity, water, and grey-water drainage on the pitch. Highly recommended. I almost forgot: excellent pizza at the Romagna Mia kiosk integrated into the facility.Translating
Clean, well-maintained, and fully adapted for campers. Only a local road separates the beach. A bus stop to Rimini is right next to the campsite. Excellent, quiet location.Translating
Friendly staff. We called three hours before arriving to ask whether there was space, and they told us they only had sunny pitches available. When we arrived, they took us to a well-shaded pitch. There are many families who know each other, so when our power cable broke, someone helped us repair it and someone else lent us one for the night. Thank you.Translating
Very clean and well maintained, right beside a huge free sandy beach. The shallow sea is pleasant. Bar and restaurant, with excellent and inexpensive pizzas. However, there are many families who all know each other. They shout, laugh, and party until late, with loud music at the bar on Friday evening. Friendly atmosphere, but not if you are looking for peace and quiet. €30 per night, cheaper than a campsite but it feels like one.Translating
We were with Mario for the second time. It is a nice motorhome site. The sanitary facilities could be a little better maintained. Everyone working there is very friendly. The bar at the entrance to the site has very good pizza.Translating
Motorhome site close to the sea, clean sanitary facilities, washing machine available, and a small area at the back of the site where dogs can run off-leash. Friendly staff.Translating
Wonderful welcome, highly recommended. Very clean, pleasant and good food. The beach is directly opposite. We had a lovely time. I recommend it; motorhomes feel safe here ❤️Translating
We stayed here three times in one year, booking through the website. Good price, as well as the option to leave by 8 p.m. for an additional fee. Some pitches are large and partly shaded, others are always in full sun. Not everyone observes the designated quiet hours. 100 metres from the sea. We did not use the showers and facilities because they did not seem clean. Excellent in the off-season.Translating
AVOID. Run-down camping area with minimal facilities, frequented by inconsiderate people. Cars and motorhomes drive through at high speed. Then, something that has never happened in 25 years: during the night, two chairs disappeared. When I reported it to the manager, he did not even let me finish before starting with “you motorhome travellers...” Anyone going to this area does so at their own risk.Translating
Total disorganization, extremely overcrowded, frequented by customers of apparently “ambiguous honesty.” Dogs barking, shouting late into the night, no toilets or facilities. Our friends even had their outdoor chairs stolen! The staff’s response was “it’s the motorhome travellers.” We will never return!Translating
The area offers many motorhome spaces, but few toilets, and some dishwashing sinks only have cold water. In addition, the manager advertises advantageous offers on the website but does not honour them. The area has potential, but it is poorly maintained.Translating
Nice, well-organized place. Clearly overcrowded at Easter, and there were problems with the grey-water drain being blocked because of undisciplined motorhome users. Bar and pizzeria open. Staff okay. Fresh-water filling and grey-water drainage directly at the pitch. €78 for three nights is fair, especially given the location practically on the beach.Translating
We stayed only two nights. Easter should be avoided. There are far too many barking dogs on the site. Unfortunately, Robinie was full.Translating
Without too many expectations, it has everything. There is a bit of a do-it-yourself feel, but for one or two nights it is not bad.Translating
Pitches vary greatly: some large, others small; some with water, others without; some with grey-water drainage (a hose is necessary), others without. Many regulars, with many televisions on verandas. The facilities block is somewhat run-down and undersized. Until August 25, the pitch costs €30 plus €4 for electricity. The manager is very brusque. Excellent location relative to the free beach.Translating
Welcoming staff, bar on site, large pitches but not all shaded. Clean toilets, functional washing machine. Opposite the beach but far from the centre on foot. The only drawback is the poorly maintained dog area inside. Expensive considering the many pitches are in full sun.Translating
Older campsite with narrow parking spaces. Older sanitary facilities at the end of the campsite, with only two toilets and three token-operated showers costing €1 for 3 minutes. There is a nice bar within the campsite. The beach was dirty and there was a green layer of algae in the sea, so we stayed only one night — €30.Translating
We stayed for two nights, perfectly peacefully. We were among Italian families who spend longer holidays here. The facilities are somewhat dated but clean. The beach, with grey sand, is just across the road. The bus to Rimini passes very frequently right outside. The August price is not the friendliest: €30 per night plus €4 for electricity. Supermarket far away.Translating
We are staying for four days. Some pitches are shaded and others have no trees. Water and 220V are available at the pitch; grey-water drainage is also at the pitch if you can attach a hose, otherwise you need a portable tank or must move the motorhome. In August it costs €34 per day including electricity. Coin-operated showers cost €1 for three minutes and can be stopped; washing machine €3 per wash. We are in the shade and comfortable; we like the area. Free beach across the road and bus stop opposite.Translating
Nice motorhome site with everything you need. Some pitches are directly in the sun without shade. Showers cost €1 for 3 minutes. Beach without loungers or parasols just across the road. Bus towards Rimini centre stops directly outside.Translating
Nice motorhome site directly by the sea. Toilets and showers, which were relatively clean. Grey-water and toilet disposal are also available. Showers cost €1. We paid €60 for two nights, two adults, two children and one motorhome, excluding shower tokens. Overall, we found everything satisfactory.Translating
