A303, BA22 8PA, Tintinhull
Been here?
Tintinhull is a large roadside parking and picnic area used by HGVs, campervans and motorhomes, with space for roughly 20 large vehicles. Overnight parking is officially prohibited but appears tolerated, with a recent overnight stay from 00:00-07:00 without problems. There is mild A303 noise, a cafe, toilets and a grassy area with exercise equipment. The cafe and toilets have previously been available all day, with toilets open 24/7.

Stayed here very last minute. Was surprised how many people were here. HGVs, campervans, motorhomes, people in cars. Great spot, fits 20 ish large vehicles. Mild A303 noise, nothing that would keep you up. Stayed between 00:00-07:00 and didn't have one issue. Did not see or use any facilities so unsure on those.
I would've given it 5, but there is a sign saying no overnight. However, lots of people do stay. I stayed and will again. No one seems to care. Decent cafe and toilets. Loads of parking.
Gets busy mainly with HGV vehicles - but generally I can always find a spot to park. Overnight parking is tolerated (if not officially sanctioned) due to the large volume of trucks staying (due to tachograph hours restrictions). A bit of voyeuristic seedy behaviour by lone men in cars is the unfortunate downside to overnighting here - hence this area is routinely patrolled by the police.
Nice place to park , there is a green area with exercises equipment, shop , toilet. There were lots of caravans , campervan , Lorrie’s parked for the night seems it is ok as we looked around no overnights prohibited signs .
No overnight parking sign at entrance, however, by my observations overnight parking IS allowed OR tolerated. Who knows....
No height restrictions, grass area to walk dogs, picnic area, toilets open 24/7 cafe selling good quality food all day, next to road but pretty quiet. Room for small vans to Lorrie’s!!!
no overnight parking sign at entrance. I always stop here when I'm passing, no hassle and convenient... not anymore.
