Camping Peregrino San Marcos

Thank you very much for a lovely stay! Very nice people who take care of the place. A spot shaded by trees. The sanitary facilities are excellent and always clean. We washed and dried our laundry! Getting to Santiago de Compostela by e-bike is a joke. The small bar on site is highly recommended once the pilgrims have set off. We would gladly come again!

We stayed for two nights. Beautiful, very shady campsite, friendly welcome, ultra-clean sanitary facilities, and the possibility of eating at the bar—burgers and pizza. There are sheep you can feed. The only negative point is that the municipal swimming pool was out of service.

Lots of shade—perfect for a tent. The pitches are huge, so you have plenty of space to yourself.

Nothing more than a quiet place. It has no attraction and looks abandoned. The showers were very dirty, with hair in the lower areas that had not been cleaned for days. Neither of us could shower with hot water on either of the two days. Very expensive for what it offers.

Spotless bathrooms. Under the trees. Perfect for visiting Santiago. You can reach Santiago by following the Camino, about 7 km on foot or by bicycle. Two people with a rooftop tent and jeep: €23.

Nice little campsite on the Camino de Santiago, quiet, with simple but clean sanitary facilities. Well shaded, pitches of various sizes, no problem for motorhomes up to 7.5 m. Small bar.

When you do not read carefully, you get tricked. We made an online reservation for one night today, and the site works for booking right up to payment. We received the booking confirmation, but the campsite was closed when we arrived. No way to contact anyone. Very disappointing.

Ideal campsite for visiting Santiago. Shady, hot water, clean sanitary facilities. Van plus two people: €24. The reception could be improved; they speak only Spanish and all the information is in Spanish.

the site is situated behind a factory there are no views at all ,the pool is dirty and closed ,the check in was absolutely mayhem as it's the last check in for the Santiago walk and the lady was taking food orders and doing check in we had pre booked for two nights but only stayed one . facilities are clean and the showers were hot . it's a 40 min bus ride to cathedral on public transport ,

Cheap. Good shade. Clean toilets. Friendly staff. Quiet. Close to public transportation to SdC. 6 km from supermarkets. Amazing wifi that reaches all the way to the back of the camping. The website mentions a swimming pool and a restaurant, but both are closed.

Nice, inexpensive campsite for a day trip to Santiago de Compostela. The sanitary facilities were fine. It was nice to see many walkers passing the campsite. The swimming pool belongs to the municipality, not the campsite, and is not maintained. Swimming is at your own risk, but the pool is completely green.

Perfect. Excellent welcome, plenty of shade. Too bad the pool was closed due to a lack of staff when we visited. I recommend that motorhome owners stop here. Very clean sanitary facilities despite their age.

Simple site, shade, clean sanitary facilities. Everyone chooses where they want to park. Electricity is available everywhere. Café for relaxing, very laid-back operators. A mixed clientele: pilgrims with tents, vans, families with caravans, but few retirees in their tiny campers. The city center can be reached by bus or in 12 minutes by car.

Do not miss the adjoining cafeteria: warm welcome, generous portions, and extremely friendly, colorful staff! Immaculate sanitary facilities, a shady and peaceful pitch! Close to Santiago via line 6, about 20 minutes. I recommend it for a few nights.

We were welcomed by Anabella, who speaks French and is extremely kind. Credit cards are not accepted. I do not understand the negative reviews.

Good campsite! Lots of trees, so plenty of shaded places. Quiet and safe. The showers are a little outdated, but there was hot water all the time. Cleaned daily, nothing to complain about. We recommend it; we spent two nights there.

Very straightforward. When we arrived, nobody was there, but the electricity still worked. The toilets were okay, the showers a little cold. There is no washing machine. The bar serves coffee and cake. We paid in the morning. Overall, it is somewhat old and poorly maintained.
