The place was nice to sleep in, but the water didn't work.
A beautiful, peaceful place.
Surprisingly lively for such a small place! Access steep and on a corner, we went for the upper level as I felt easier. Quiet night but awoken very early by some people strimming the grass in the area - bit unlucky. We drove one minute down the road to the waterfall parking and spent a lovely day there. Highly recommend the whole area!
Grassy parking area in a rural village. You share the space with beautiful, peaceful cows. There is a fresh-water fountain, but its quality is not guaranteed by testing. You can sort your waste on site. Good 4G reception. Fairly noisy: dogs bark during the day and a little at night, otherwise the night was peaceful. The village is pleasant, with two bars, a chapel, and a church.
Like going back in time with rural farming traditions been carried out as 70 years ago. Picture post card location with outstanding panoramic scenery plus local community very friendly. Please respect their lovely community.
Spacious, level, with a fountain, two tables, and swings. Very quiet and close to the upper pools of Fisgas de Ermelo.
Great spot with a truly fantastic view! We had a quiet night. The next day we went hiking nearby, with beautiful waterfalls and natural pools.
May 17, 2023. Great spot. Accessible from Vila Real via a road with magnificent scenery through the Alvão reserve. Quiet, level, with mountain views. Water point but no toilet. I recommend it.
We spent a quiet, safe night here. The police drove past but ignored us. Very beautiful area.
Very pacific place, spacious and with a bit of a view to a sanctuary. There is a café nearby, you might hear some noises but nothing disturbing. The owner's of the café are very approchable and kind, prices accessible, also they have wifi, not the quickest but does the job. I totally recomend.
A place with a wonderful view and level spaces, in a village in the national park. Beautiful sunset over Monte Farinha. Quiet at night. There are no toilets, so it is unsuitable for vehicles without their own toilet.
A truly fantastic place to wake up or go to sleep. Very beautiful view, especially if you climb briefly onto the rock. Don't come for the facilities—there are really only rubbish bins and a brand-new playground—but if you can spend one night without facilities, it is a beautiful camper spot.
