DJ155F, Ceahlău
Been here?
A quiet campsite on a hill with excellent views of Ceahlău Peak, a restaurant and friendly service. It offers clean, functional sanitary facilities, Wi-Fi, food and plenty of space for motorhomes. Access involves a gravel road, a narrow bridge and a difficult ramp, making larger or long vehicles challenging. Navigation should follow the campsite sign on the main road rather than the suggested route.

Very friendly staff. Superb scenery. Clean. Free Wi-Fi.
Best campsite so far. Great view, cosy, quiet, good food and nice staff.
Very beautiful site with a great view. Very friendly staff and owners. The sanitary facilities are somewhat dated but functional and clean.
Nice site; you have to drive up a hill and then you get a pitch with a great view. The restaurant is really nice!
Very friendly welcome, with many spaces for motorhomes. The necessary comforts are available. However, beware: the access ramp is difficult for long and wide vehicles, and there is no washing machine.
Beautiful, quiet campsite. Be careful on arrival: do not follow the satnav; stay on the main road after leaving the village and look for the campsite sign on the right. Access is via a gravel road and narrow bridge. Larger motorhomes may have difficulty. Sanitary facilities are basic but clean. Good restaurant and very friendly staff.
A very friendly campsite with quality services. Don’t miss it.
18 September 2024. The satnav told us to turn right off the main road just before the village. Don’t; the entrance is on the right before the village, on the main road. Small sign. Narrow entry with a curve over a narrow bridge; we are 6.36 metres and were fine. Not suitable for much larger vehicles. Beautiful site with great views. Very quiet, with one other van. Short walk to the village, 800 metres; hiking trails and a friendly owner. Recommended.
A lovely campsite with a very warm welcome! Sanitary facilities and all amenities. Very quiet. Friendly; I recommend it if you want to hike in Ceahlau Park!
Great view. 4 stars instead of 5 as I couldn’t have a shower- the window has a fixed wooden grid like an open blide where someone from the outside is able to see inside.
Very nice and friendly place and host, good view of the mountains, great amenities and still much in development with a restaurant coming up to be active on the premises. We even got food delivered to the place! Somewhat difficult access on a narrow bridge and also up on the camping site due to a very tight curve. Definitely one of the best camping sites in Romania!
Alex is a very friendly host and, above all, always ready to help with any of your needs.
