300 rue du bourg, 07570, Désaignes
Been here?
A small, shaded campsite suitable for a stopover, with marked pitches and access to a nearby river and swimming area. It has a snack bar and pizzeria, while Wi-Fi identifiers are available at the reception desk in the Snack. Sanitary facilities are somewhat outdated, and recent comments report difficulties with reception. ACSI and FFCC reductions are offered.

In response to the two previous reviews, the facts are inaccurate. It was not a refusal to show the site: about a dozen people entered the campsite without permission or waiting for our approval. Our campsite is private property, not a public park. We enforce these rules to preserve the peace and quiet of our campers.
Terrible welcome; I absolutely do not recommend it!
The campsite may be decent, but the owner welcomed us so badly that, on his advice, we moved on. We found refuge in Boucieu at Camping de la Vallée du Doux, where we were received very well. Five motorhomes.
The third star is somewhat generous, but otherwise everything is good. Perfect for a stopover.
Small, simple but pleasant campsite; the pitches are well defined and shaded, and the prices are reasonable. Swimming lake below, and the village's medieval centre is nearby. Sanitary facilities are a little outdated.
Very good campsite, friendly operator and affordable stay.
Very peaceful. Sanitary facilities a little outdated, but the shower button lasted a decent time and the temperature could be adjusted. Less than €24 for one person, with electricity.
Beautifully located, quiet, with a view of the river and direct access to the water. Bakery, grocery shop and restaurants (delicious pizza!) within walking distance. Had a wonderful time walking and cycling, both on the road and with the mountain bike.
Great shaded campsite.
Good, quiet campsite in beautiful surroundings. Pleasant welcome. Very beautiful village. We will return.
Very nice spot, the man in reception was very nice given our limited French. Bathrooms are a bit spiderwebby but clean and have seats (no paper). The access to the river/beach is great, in Sept very low but that's no fault of the site. We stayed 2 nights not 1 as it was so nice. Only 4* because 4.5 is impossible to give. Not perfect, but very very nice.
Very warm welcome, very pleasant and peaceful campsite, well shaded, next to a river and just a stone's throw from the medieval village. A wonderful discovery; I recommend it.
