Been here?
A beautiful riverside wild spot with a stunning night view of the bridge. Locals, noise, dogs and litter can be present, especially in the evening and overnight. The riverside access road is badly damaged and risks getting stuck; approach from the perpendicular road by the bridge or opposite side. The town is nearby.

A lot of locals in the evening and some garbage but when I woke up I was the only one there. Apart from a Shepard
I tried to stay here last night, it is a very beautiful spot but it is just about luck. Many locals come and go and some very noisy. We needed some rest and a guy came with loud music for a long time so we moved on. Unfortunately this is a common issue in Türkiye
The place is beautiful and peaceful, with a stunning nighttime view of the bridge! Attention!!! Do not take the road along the river to get there! It is completely rough and you risk getting stuck in the mud!! Reach the area from the perpendicular road, either from the bridge or the opposite side, but not along the riverbank! Pay attention to the map. The area is quiet and the police patrol it.Translating
A pack of dogs came during the night and were barking and jumping up at the van, it was covered in muddy paw prints in the morning. Also a few cars coming and going between 1am and 3am and a man shining a torch around, a lot of litter around as mentioned. Wouldn’t recommend unless you need to be close to the border for one night. One positive was that we saw a beaver in the river!
I was not very reassured after reading the comments, but the night went well. There were three vehicles. Nothing to report.Translating
Nice place, with municipal facilities nearby, on the banks of the Tunca River, close to the city center.Translating
lovely spot. close to town. down sides are there a lot of rubbish and the ground is sandy which made the camper very dirty
Good place for one night, but very dirty. Rubbish everywhere in abundance! The train passes nearby, but after traveling in India, the noise was tolerable for us. A few mosquitoes at night.Translating
Really great place to sleep after quickly crossing the border and enjoy the fantastic Friday market, but quite dirty. Most importantly, we were woken at 6 a.m. by someone trying to reach through our mosquito net. Caught in the act, he tried to make us believe the parking lot belonged to him. We took out our phone to photograph his face, and he ran away…Translating
Warning: on 29/05/2023, the campervan was broken into last night!!! They took whatever they could from the trunk until they made noise and woke us up, then they got scared and ran away. Black car with dark-tinted windows. Definitely avoid.Translating
It could have been a really lovely place: a large green park, busy but relatively quiet. Too bad it is truly very dirty. The town is pleasant. Also, the large, lively market just a two-minute walk away on Friday morning made up for the spot: €3/kg for strawberries!Translating
Good parking spot very close to the border and extremely close to the city. There is a lot of rubbish here and many locals too. We stood in a meadow among trees a little farther away, following the paths. Very quiet night and very good 4.5G connection with Turkcell.Translating
