Straightforward parking area, friendly staff, a little dated. Everything you need is available: water, electricity, wastewater and sanitary facilities. From here it takes a while to reach the usual hiking trailheads, but with the ticket you can use public transport free of charge in certain zones. In terms of value for money, we found nothing comparable nearby and came back three times.

Full marks from us. Why? Pure relaxation. Free swimming-pool access. Free public transport. A lovely town with a great bakery. And a site with the charm, advantages and disadvantages of the 1970s. See for yourself and decide. For 80 percent of you, this place will not be suitable.

Thank you for calling back. We were passing through, but were allowed to use the service facilities for filling and emptying. Simply perfect!! The overnight parking area is above the town. It looks beautiful and well maintained.

Simple camping ground. Sparkling clean sanitary facilities although not many (1 shower, 2 toilets). Entry to swimming pool was free. We paid 17E for van, 2 adults, and power.

Nice and extremely quiet place on a grass field surrounded by trees. The facilities are not the newest - they are quite outworn, but the staff is friendly and it is very cheap. 10€ for the camper per night. 3 € for electricity. Toilets and bath for free. There is an outdoor pool (freibad) right next to the parkinglot. The price is 3 € for adults, 2 € for kids (6 to 18 years).

Everything you need after a day of hiking in Saxon Switzerland. Very friendly manager, clean sanitary facilities, and he takes all the time needed to explain the best routes. We spent two very quiet nights.

Simple camping. Sanitary incl showers partly functioning. Place is unfenced and unguarded during nights. First night (friday), guests came in loudly until 1am30 (hence in the night). Next 2 nights were ok. swimming pool is nice....

Beautiful, sunny site with an adjoining natural swimming pool and a very nice operator/lifeguard! The sanitary facilities are older but clean. When the site is full, the few toilets and showers quickly become overcrowded. Still, it is a good starting point for hikes. The tourist tax includes bus tickets to Bad Schandau and elsewhere. We felt comfortable.

Although nobody is there in the off-season, a phone number is posted. Facilities for filling and emptying are available, although emptying is a little complicated. I didn't need the toilet because I have one in the motorhome. Rubbish disposal is also provided. I had a very quiet night.
