Been here?
A free roadside parking place suitable even for large motorhomes, with two markets, restaurants and a laundromat nearby. Traffic creates noticeable road noise, and the central area can be dirty. Police have said that overnight parking is not permitted.

Free roadside parking, also ideal for large motorhomes. The city centre is 40 minutes by bicycle. There are no prohibition signs, but in the afternoon the police came by and said overnight stays were not allowed, even though I had already slept there the previous night and other campers and vans were present... So it was a quiet night with no services.
Slept for three nights without any disturbance or feeling unsafe. Having two large supermarkets with restaurants makes things much easier. There is indeed some traffic noise, but it did not bother me.
The place really has the sounds of cars passing by. It is not very clean centrally, but it has the benefit of having two good markets and a laundromat nearby.
We spent two nights here with other motorhomes. The nearby road makes the place quite noisy, but it did not bother us much. An excellent Pingo Doce supermarket is opposite, and there is a shopping center farther along. The metro is a 25-minute walk away.
Motorhomes and small cars parked next to a supermarket that has another parking area. Smell of urine and dirty flower bed.
very noisy indeed, and dirty, but if you just need to sleep and drive on, you can sleep here.
