Been here?
A large campsite with spacious pitches in a calm setting near Lac de Bairon, although the campsite currently has no access to the lake beach. Reception may be unwelcoming, reservations are handled by bank transfer rather than online, and ANCV is not accepted. The sanitary facilities are described as old, dirty and partly closed, while the swimming pool has restrictions on jumping. There is no WiFi.

No online booking! Bank transfer! Old-fashioned!! No ANCV. Welcome? Not great. No access to the beach. Outdated and dirty sanitary facilities. The allocation of pitches makes no sense. We were at the far end with the sanitary block closed, even though closer spaces were available. Swimming pool: no jumping, diving, inflatables, and so on. Green spaces and shade are fine. Phew!Translating
Beautiful campsite with spacious grounds. We came to watch the France–Morocco match, but the welcome was lacking. At the end of the match they threw us out. Not welcoming, what a shame, because it is a beautiful campsite.Translating
Very warm welcome. Superb campsite, large pitch close to the lake, magnificent location. I recommend it.Translating
Warm welcome, very clean campsite, showers and toilets in order, clean but outdated vehicle. No Wi-Fi. No access to the lake from the campsite; at least a 20-minute walk. Restaurant on the campsite closed. Quiet at night too. Chemical-toilet disposal is a disaster: small and very cramped. Blue cabinet! A little expensive for so few facilities. One adult, one dog, one 6 m motorhome, €23 per day, tourist tax included.Translating
The campsite was already closed on 7 October 2024.Translating
Warm welcome. Very beautiful, large and well-maintained pitches. Very quiet campsite. In September, the pool is closed, the restaurant seems dead, and only one sanitary block is open. €17 for one van, one person and one dog, without electricity. It is a shame that the lake cannot be accessed from the campsite. The beach is about 2 km away.Translating
The campsite and sanitary facilities are tidy. There is a small pool for cooling off. The restaurant looks deserted and out of service. There is also no access to the lake from the campsite. Camper with two people and one dog, including electricity and use of the facilities: €24.44.Translating
Great campsite Very clean Good welcome, quiet Pool and lake Bike rides or walks Reasonable price for a motorhome with two people: €26 without electricity but with a dog. Recommended.Translating
Good, shaded. Clean sanitary facilities. For hot water in the showers, it is strongly recommended to let the water run until it reaches a good temperature (this is stated). No off-season rate: €19.50 for two people without electricity. Electricity €5.Translating
It is true that the place is beautiful, but avoid it. There is no way to dump waste or fill up with water. No more baker comes by after the last weekend of August. All pitches are occupied by new mobile homes. Only six places remain for motorhomes. What a shame.Translating
Nice campsite by the lake with many cabins. One night in a camper for two people with electricity: €20. Very large pitches, but some electrical pedestals do not have all types of sockets. Partial shade and little outdoor lighting. Rather old but fairly clean facilities; one of the two buildings is closed. Grey-water disposal is inconvenient.Translating
Beautiful pitches and a well-maintained campsite despite the outdated toilets. However, for motorhomes, grey-water disposal is inaccessible because big bags are stored on top of it, and there is little provision for filling with water. The snack-bar hut is closed? Finally, the 12 m by 5 m pool costs €8 per person per day, which is expensive.Translating
