2 Galgenbergweg, 92714, Pleystein
Been here?
This is a free, slightly sloping motorhome area in a pretty, clean town, with some shade and good overnight facilities. Free water, waste disposal and toilet emptying are available, while the very clean on-site toilets are open during the day but closed overnight. Vehicle movement can occur because it is also a car park, and church bells are audible until 22h. A pizza restaurant is next door, with walking and cycling routes nearby and an outdoor pool 15 mins away.

A very beautiful place, everything very clean and a lovely small town.
We only called in for services, which all worked well. Toilets on site are modern and very clean. Appeared to be a really nice place to stay overnight.
Excellent place, quiet, with a very good Italian restaurant a few meters away. Gray-water disposal and toilets open during the day. Very good area for spending the night.
Very good spot for a short stay or for emptying and filling; everything is free. For black water, there is a fairly heavy round cast-iron hatch with a ring on top and no instructions. It seems archaic, but it does the job. Toilets with paper and soap, impeccably clean. Access to the disposal and filling points is not easy for large motorhomes, but thanks to the municipality of Pleystein.
We slept very well. There is a very clean toilet open during the day. It is an area with quite a lot of vehicle traffic because it is also a car park, but it is not disturbing. There is shade and the village is very beautiful and clean.
Great, quiet place with excellent service facilities; the toilets were spotlessly clean. Somewhat sloping, but not disturbing.
Great place for one night; the pizzeria next door is very affordable. The toilets are unfortunately closed overnight, but otherwise very clean.
Nice spot, pizza was ok. cleanest toilets ever, sadly no shower. A big garbage bin too. The church bells went crazy every hour till 22h. I think the hunchback of Notre Dame has moved here
We were completely alone, although it was still early in the season. Very quiet at night except for the bells. We arrived around 10 p.m. and the facilities were already closed, but they were open in the morning. The facilities are free and very well maintained, even heated. The outdoor water was still turned off, but there was even warm water inside. We left a €5 donation because it is a great service from the municipality!
The best place in the area, relatively quiet, clean and free. I like it here. Warm and clean toilet! Many thanks to the municipality for everything.
This place does not seem welcoming in winter; the parking area is muddy because of the weather and the water is turned off. A shame. I think it is much more charming in summer, even though it remains a roadside parking area rather than a proper motorhome area.
Perfect place to stop overnight. Super-clean toilets. Thanks for everything to the town of Pleystein. There is a nice pizza restaurant next to the camper stop. We will come again in summer.
Perfect quiet place for the night. Toilet emptying with a jerrycan (frost-free water). Bins available. Clean, heated and accessible sanitary facilities. A place worth remembering, close to the town centre and shops.
We spent a good night here. No water, probably closed for winter. The public toilet was clean and heated. We did not hear the church.
Complete freedom, wonderful, with a toilet and a good restaurant, Da Peppino, with prices from the last century. Beautiful surroundings with culture and nature.
the place is good for day parking as its free and close to the village center. Public toilets clean. For sleepover its very-very loud (crossing of 2 roads), and combined with gravel car park used to late hours and again from mornings (slamming door, cars leaving/comming). Place is a bit uneven. The church bells banging every 15mins thru the whole night are the least problem
Free parking for one night, disposal available, ideal just before the Czech border, opposite the cemetery. Clean toilets. The bell rings every 15 minutes all night, but it is not disturbing. Bakery in the village.
Perfect place for disposal, with ground-level inlets for black water, gray water and free fresh water. Also free, clean toilets and a well-used parking lot. Many thanks to the municipality for such generosity. A voluntary donation is requested as appreciation.
This parking area is just a parking lot—nothing more! Cars park you in at any time of day or night; compared with them, the church bells are quiet. This place is not suitable for noise-sensitive people, especially since the roads passing by are also busy. The little town is very nice—thanks to the municipality for its goodwill!
All I can say is: thank you very much to the town for providing such a free place, including all facilities. The toilets are in excellent condition because they are cleaned regularly. Super! A donation is appropriate!
Good place to settle in and spend the night. Regular church bells. No shops or other services except for a restaurant/pizzeria next door. Thanks to the municipality for making this public parking available and for the toilets with hot water!
This is a public parking area with very clean toilets open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., charging points for electric bicycles and information about the area. As it is a public parking lot, cars may come and go, but we still want to thank the town hall for providing places to spend the night!
Thanks to the municipality for this free overnight place with clean public toilets. It is quite appropriate to make a donation!
Great spot close to the town center. Seems like the toilets are closed from 11pm to 10am -we were there from Saturday to Sunday. However very clean, so somehow worth the wait! Church bells were not a problem for us. Fantastic pizzas just next door (however the decor was from the last century).
The place is fine, but the toilets are closed. There is a lot of car traffic early in the morning.
Basically a nice place, but unfortunately there were many cars on Monday morning. Since we arrived on Sunday, parking was not a problem. I think it is a commuter car park during the week. Very busy and noisy in the morning. The wastewater basin is currently blocked. The toilets are very spacious and clean.
The place is fine. It has a water point and gray-water disposal. But the toilets were closed at 9 p.m. when we arrived and all night; at 8:30 in the morning they were being cleaned. The bells ring all night, and from 6 a.m. there is a lot of car traffic.
Magnificent place to rest and enjoy visiting a beautiful village with welcoming and friendly people. We slept peacefully and safely, with free services that worked perfectly.
This place has everything important - good access, black, gray water disposal and above all - clean toilets. Recommend!
We thank the municipality for providing a free service point for fresh, gray and black water, as well as parking in a beautiful and clean village.
We are passing through and grateful to the municipality for the beautiful free motorhome site. It is quiet and surrounded by beautiful scenery. You could certainly stay here for a few days.
