Free park parking, weekend noise

Beautiful place to park and visit the city. The bus stop is 200 m away (take bus 46 Marienbuck and get off at the terminus, Rathaus, in the city centre; price €3.90 per person). Quiet night and clean toilets, grassy area for eating peacefully.

Thank you to the municipality for this free parking area, without facilities but with clean rubbish bins and toilets. Magnificent park right next door! Dogs are welcome. City centre 12 minutes away by bicycle. Very quiet night despite the nearby road.

Well located on the outskirts of the city, with direct bus line 46 to the centre, a toilet (accessible, cleaned at least once a day and with toilet paper!—but otherwise pure motorway-service-station atmosphere), about 50 m from a main road that is relatively lightly trafficked at night. Some campers really do need two spaces… Thank you to the city of Nuremberg!!!

Stayed here for 2 nights, really nice place to stay, Lidl and Aldi within walking distance, also it is next to a really nice park. Also toilets on site as well. Would definitely come back. Visited Nuremberg too whilst here, really nice there too.

Unfortunately, most people cannot park properly, so there is no space left after 4–5 p.m. What a shame. The road itself is also very busy, which is a problem in summer, especially with the windows open.

Very good location. We slept there for one night. The city centre is about 30 minutes away by bus, with the buses right next door. It is ideal and very quiet; you cannot hear the road. There are large green spaces for dogs to run around and walk. Public toilets are available, though not very clean. But everything is free and well located.

Well located for visiting the city, but very noisy at weekends. Families spend the day in the park with barbecues and loud music until late in the evening. The music does not bother us, but you only hear the bass. The parking for park visitors is right next to the campers’ parking, so there is traffic back and forth all evening, even at night. Perhaps we were unlucky because of the exceptionally beautiful weather.

You really have to arrive early; the site is very busy. It is about 30–40 minutes’ walk into the city. The site is clean. A park for walking the dog is adjacent. At night it is fairly noisy, though… But it is free. Thank you, Nuremberg.

This site is popular and perfectly located for exploring Nuremberg. Several supermarkets and petrol stations are nearby and easily reached on foot. There is a toilet directly at the parking area. We spent two nights here and slept very well.

Practical place. The spaces are not marked, so some people take a wide space while others have to make do with a narrow strip. Unfortunately, some motorhomes are permanently parked, so you have to be lucky to find a spot. Public transport: bus stop 46 nearby, on the same side of the street. To return: Stirnerstrasse stop. €3.90, payment by app or card, no cash.

Great place, close to the city centre. Very quiet at night. The toilets are also clean. You do park close together, but that does not matter in the evening. Thank you to the city of Nuremberg for providing something like this free of charge.

We were lucky and found a parking space. Nice location by the park, and you can cycle easily into Nuremberg city centre. The site is very heavily used, but when all spaces are occupied, you can park on the road without any problems. There were always enough spaces available there.

Really nice spot for visiting Nürnberg. bus stop 46 right next door to get to the old town. great for dogs and if you want to picnic in the parc. we were there Easter Sunday to Monday and just got really lucky to have a spot in the evening. didn't try the toilets since we have everything on board.

Practical parking area for one night. No service facilities, but it is free. You should not arrive too late if you want to get a space. Unfortunately, the toilet is unacceptable!

We wanted to stay here for one night with two motorhomes, but there was trouble with inspectors from the local public order office because my parents could not show a motorhome registration for their self-converted van (!) and were therefore ordered to leave. Apart from that, the site itself is rather neglected. Public transport was a 10-minute walk from the site. Overall, rather poor.

Unfortunately, the entire parking area was occupied by cars belonging to visitors to the adjacent park. There was therefore no space left for motorhomes. Annoying!

Convenient parking area without services, well connected to Nuremberg city centre by bus, whose stop is 100 metres from the parking area. There is no barrier at the entrance and it is free. We stayed for two nights. Recommended!

Well located, with excellent access to the Christkindlmarkt in 20 minutes by bus 46 towards Rathaus. Quiet. As with any public toilet, regular cleaning is needed.

A free parking space, with even space available at 5 p.m. during the Christmas season. Great: directly by the bus, which goes to Rathaus without changing.

Great free parking & overnight spot with our 7.3m motorhome. 45 min walk into the middle of the city.

The site is OK and well suited for visiting the city or Christkindlmarkt. Toilets are directly at the entrance for anyone who needs them. Unfortunately, half the parking area is currently being used to sell Christmas trees, and it is very cramped camping. No service facilities or electricity. But you should not complain—the site is free and can be used for three days. Thank you to the city of Nuremberg.

As already described, a good place for visiting the city or Christkindlmarkt. The rear section is currently closed off for Christmas tree sales, which makes it even more annoying that some fellow campers park extremely inconsiderately! The Lamberts gingerbread factory outlet, about a 20-minute walk away, is also worth visiting.

Thank you to the city of Nuremberg. Many other cities could learn from this. We stayed for one night. Excellent bus connection into the city. Despite being close to the road and airport, we had a quiet night. The nearby shopping facilities and directly adjacent park are also advantages.

Only part of the site is closed until 5 December. A few motorhomes can find space here.

This site is great. Very safe. I spent two lovely nights there. You cannot hear the road at all. Bus stop nearby, 20 minutes into the city. I was there in November and there was enough space for more campers. The toilet is not exactly the best.

We stayed one night, a quiet place next to a beautiful park, free but without facilities; public toilets available. Convenient transport into the centre. Recommended.

Beautiful place next to a large park! The city is easy to reach by public transport! The public toilets are clean! Of course, there are city noises.
