Castle parking, morning construction noise

Spent a quiet night. Steep access road. At present, construction materials are fenced off in the back right area. This means there is limited space for events, such as yesterday when there was a private function at El Castillo.

Large parking area. We spent a very pleasant, quiet night here. However, we only used it for sleeping: we arrived at 11 p.m. and continued on after breakfast in the morning.

We spent a peaceful night. Large parking area and a Spanish restaurant next door. Great views from the castle courtyard. In the morning we woke to the sounds of a construction site at around 7:30, but it did not bother us.

Very quiet and a good place to stay. Woken in the morning by sunshine and birdsong—excellent. We had a great meal at the Spanish restaurant the evening before. Please take your own rubbish with you so that such a beautiful place is not closed.

I spent a quiet and pleasant night here. I can only recommend the place. Unfortunately, I could not try the Spanish restaurant because I arrived too late and the kitchen was already closed.

Great place to spend the night, with a Spanish restaurant right there… the car park belongs to El Castillo. You absolutely have to eat there; it is excellent. Very friendly owner who is delighted to see every motorhome user.

Easy-to-reach parking area above Vlotho. Very quiet after 10 p.m.; the lighting was switched off during our stay. A few dog walkers from 6 a.m. Spanish restaurant and beer garden with a great view over the Weser valley. Highly recommended pitch away from the motorway.

Had a delicious meal at Burg Castillo with friendly service. Spent the night in the car park. Very quiet without floodlights. There is construction work, but nobody was working while we were there.

We ate tapas at Don Castillo today. For €30, three tapas and two drinks. It is open from 12:00 to 22:00 except Mondays. You can also use the toilet during those hours.
