Lakeside parking, fills quickly

Good place with good views, but there is no room here for six motorhomes.

Very busy rest area, directly beside the road. Fine for a short break, but not ideal for overnight stays. Thoughtless campers park extremely close in the spaces in the evening. Only a rubbish bin, with no other services. Some locals come by to swim in the lake.

Small parking area beside the road. Crowded with inconsiderate motorhome users this season: camping setups and toilet paper in the bushes. Bin available. One of the few places still free at the start of Route 44. Please respect the area!

Great spot! We even stayed another night, two nights in total, because the weather was so fantastic. Lovely swimming in the lake. There are several good places to get in and out of the water. Three picnic tables and several rubbish bins.

Perfect for a quiet night. Lots of people, but there was still a space around 9 p.m. View of the lake and little traffic after 11 p.m.

Really nice place with access to the lake and a few tables. We stopped here for a break without staying overnight. The place fills up quickly toward evening.

Quite a nice spot beside the road, perhaps a little too nice because some people do not hesitate to pull right up to your windshield without caring about anyone else's privacy; some behavior is beyond me. 4G is fine, the lake view is superb, and despite everything I recommend this spot.

We felt very comfortable here! Great swimming area, sunny and quiet. Approximately five campers can fit.

Very beautiful pitch directly beside a lake where you can swim. Relatively level and with a very nice view. It was very quiet at night and we slept really well. There were four other campers with us.

Very quiet place at Botnevann Rasteplass by the lake. Hardly any traffic. A small waterfall can be seen and heard opposite. Walking is not possible over a wide area because of the road. We spent one night here. Wonderful. Free and surrounded by lots of nature.

Parking area not very wide, for about eight motorhomes. Fills up quickly! In the mountain's shadow in the evening and morning. Very little traffic at night.

Beautiful place beside the road. The view of the lake and mountains is beautiful, especially in good weather. Also great for taking a refreshing dip! It was fairly busy when we were there and several campers had to drive on. I recommend arriving here on time. Traffic continues through the night, but it is much quieter than during the day. With good earplugs it is perfectly manageable.

Great place directly beside the lake and behind the road, which is not very busy. None at all at night. You can swim wonderfully in the lake.

Wonderful rest area by a lake. The road is not too loud and there is a beautiful view of the lake.
