Eparchiaki Odos Komiliou - Akrotiriou Lefkatas, 310 82, Apollonii
Been here?
A quiet farm stay among olive trees beside the Avra taverna, offering shade and peaceful overnight parking. The owner is friendly, and the restaurant serves generous, reasonably priced Greek food, including moussaka for €11. A terrace provides views of the sunset, and an outdoor shower is available. Use the outdoor shower cautiously because a privacy concern has been reported.

!!!BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THE OUTDOOR SHOWER – SOMEONE FROM THE RESTAURANT STAFF ON THE SECOND FLOOR MIGHT BE WATCHING YOUR WIFE!!!
A great place to spend the night, with shade. The owner is very kind and friendly. If you want to eat, the food is good, plentiful, and reasonably priced, with a terrace where you can watch a wonderful sunset. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed a wonderful sunset while having dinner and spent the night under a large olive tree. Very peaceful night. The owner is extremely kind and friendly. The restaurant prices are fair (for example, moussaka €11), the portions are generous, and the food was good. An excellent base for visiting the nearby beaches if you have a scooter and do not want to drive the camper down.
We stayed here for one night. We had a delicious dinner and the next day took a long walk to Egremi Beach (beautiful!). There is even an outdoor shower for afterward. Nice and funny owner. We highly recommend the place!
The taverna was not open yet. However, we happened to meet the owner and were able to park among the olive trees without any problems.
We arrived on October 28 at around 10 p.m. The restaurant was closed, so we went somewhere else. The next day we drove past before noon and it was also closed. I also tried calling the number listed here, but the operator repeatedly said it was not available for incoming calls. The place looked nice, but we had to go elsewhere.
The owner is great, as are the food and the view. You are sheltered and peaceful here... at least in October.
Really great place. The food tastes just like Mom's.
Very friendly and good dinner. The pitch was flawless and easily accessible.
Perfect, perfect!!!!!!!
We are a family traveling in a van. We spent the day at the beautiful beach (parking at the bottom costs €10, followed by a 1.5 km walk and 350 steps). Then we spent the night in the parking lot of Nick's taverna. The owner is someone worth meeting. Not only did we eat well at a good price, but we also laughed a lot with the owner and other guests. We danced. A wonderful memory.
We loved this place, under the olive trees, very peaceful, about an hour's walk from the magnificent beach, with a strenuous climb back, so bring water. But above all, go there for the taverna: everything is delicious, and the owner Nicolas is a colorful character, very funny and kind! We highly recommend it.
Great spot in the cool shade of the olive trees. The taverna is very good too. Access to a toilet and outdoor shower, and you can take on water before leaving. We stayed for two days; the beach is accessible on foot in one hour, with a long flight of stairs at the end. Be warned, the climb back is strenuous.
Excellent—we stayed here for two nights, and the funny owner and good food alone are worth staying for. There is also an outdoor shower, and many shaded spots under olive trees. Egremni Beach is beautiful and about a 45-minute walk from the taverna, although the return journey in particular is very steep and strenuous.
Very good meal at the taverna, along with a very warm welcome. Beautiful view for the sunset, and we slept well!
We stayed here for two nights in total and had a great time! The long walk to the beach is absolutely worth it, and you save the €8 parking fee farther down.
Very good meal, followed by a quiet night.
Fantastic authentic spot! Parking under the olive trees surrounded by animals (goats, deer, etc.). A vintage playground for children. And a wonderful welcome at the taverna; the children had lots of fun with Nicolae. Thanks again for your hospitality!
Very pleasant and quiet place with a nice restaurant and a magnificent view of the sea and sunset. You can walk down to the beach in one hour.
Great. What more can be said than all the positive comments? The magnificent Egremni Beach is accessible on foot, about 2–3 km.
Fantastic!!! Among the olive trees and very peaceful. A warm, authentic, high-quality establishment and remarkable hospitality. We spent two nights here. Don't hesitate if you are passing through.
As previously described, a superb place among the olive trees. We spent one night and, above all, ate at Nicolae's tavern, where he enjoys making his customers laugh throughout the meal. A lovely experience, thank you!
A large and beautiful overnight spot among old olive trees. There is also a cozy tavern with delicious, reasonably priced food and a helpful, friendly host. He assured us several times that his visitors need not fear this absurd overnight-stay regulation. If necessary, he has several different plots of land. Fortunately, Greece is still all right here.
Free parking in the olive grove! Nicolae's welcome is incredible; he is quite a character! Go and eat at the tavern or buy some local products to support his hospitality and good humor... We can confirm the outdoor shower (a bit rustic, but hey...) and the superb sunset from the terrace. Well worth it!
We spent one night at the site. The restaurant alone and the host's friendliness make a stay worthwhile. Gladly again!!!
Lovely place to spend the night when passing through, we stayed just before the new law came in, so moving forward overnight stays may be an issue at this spot.
Great spot if you don’t mind being away from the water, lots of shady areas under the olive trees and some basic ammenities including a playground for kids. The restaurant was fantastic, so good we elected to stay another day and eat there twice.
Delicious food, very nice and funny tavern owner, water and an outdoor shower available.
Very friendly, great view, excellent food.
still open today to drink a beer. good evening
Yesterday, October 20, 2024, was the last day it was open. The food selection was naturally somewhat limited. We still felt comfortable. The host said it would reopen on May 1, 2025.
