This is a paved parking area at the start of a 9kms hiking route around Muroojarvi in the Ruunaa hiking area. It has a picnic table, barbecue, dry toilets, sorted waste bins, firewood, and a boat launch. Several walks into Ruunaa National Park begin here. The site is mainly a large asphalted parking area at the end of the road beside a lake.

We stayed only because we wanted to start our hike from here. Otherwise, as already described, the site has a toilet, rubbish disposal and fire pit. Overall, it is really just a large paved parking lot. Without the hiking trail, we certainly would have driven on.Translating
Beautiful place at the end of the road beside a lake. Fire pit, plenty of wood, a toilet and separated rubbish bins are available. Several hikes through Ruuna National Park start from here.Translating
