Short-stay parking, often full

We arrived here on Saturday evening. There was a sign at the entrance to the parking area saying maximum 4 hours. Moreover, the parking area was full of passenger cars, mostly people walking their dogs. We did not see a single camper there. We looked for another location.

Not the prettiest motorhome pitch, but absolutely adequate if you have no high expectations. We were not disturbed. However, it was very busy in the evening, so it is better not to arrive too late. Everywhere else you can only stay for 4 hours, so this is great because the parking area is already beyond the town sign.

Good that it is free, but there are lots of flies because of the dog mess!

Quiet parking area and peaceful night. The trains are not a nuisance. Many walkers and cyclists, as well as cars taking people out to walk their dogs. Nice bike ride. A free stopover is appreciated.

Quiet and fairly large. Lit. Fields nearby, close to Heist station.

Very easy access to the seaside by bicycle. The night was fairly quiet: a few trains and many bicycles passed late in the evening and early in the morning, but it was not bothersome. The parking-area streetlights remain on all night.

We spent one night here. Quiet parking area with few people. Flat parking area next to a dog park. A small walking path is nearby. We felt safe.

Nice and quiet place just outside the city. Spend the night.
