Unnamed Road, 96173, Oberhaid
Been here?
This is a secluded hikers’ parking area in a quiet, partly shaded forest, reached by a small asphalt road ending in a dead end. Several trails lead through the forest, and the site has a rubbish bin, benches, and a picnic seating area. It is usually very quiet, although it can become busy when walking groups arrive on Monday morning. There is no mobile network; Telekom is very weak and O2 reaches about 2MBit.

Lovely spot in the forest, absolutely quiet. No mosquitoes in early May 2026. Several hiking trails allow you to walk around the forest. No mobile network.Translating
Wonderfully secluded in the forest. After this, there is only an isolated farm, then a dead end. There is a small bin and a seating area at the site. Partly shaded. Access is via a small paved road. Good starting point for hikes. Telekom reception is very poor. O2 is about 2 Mbps. From 3 PM onward, the place really fills up with hikers.Translating
Lots of shade and very quiet. Infested with mosquitoes.Translating
We stayed here for two nights. No problem whatsoever with an 8-meter unit. A 24-hour Zone 1+2 bus ticket cost me €2.45 (€4.85 for my wife). Take the bus at Luky2 across the road.Translating
