Been here?
A spacious campsite beside the water, with freely chosen pitches on meadow or among trees, a sandy beach and clean facilities. A camper pitch costs 340 Kr per night, while showers cost 20 NOK for 5 minutes. The site has a kitchen, paid showers, toilet and sewage emptying, with self check-in and canoe rental. It can be lively with families, but suits an overnight stay before the ferry.

Beautiful place with many pitches that are well distributed around the water. The sanitary facilities are spacious and clean. In general, there is quite a lot of family activity by Norwegian standards, but it is suitable for one night before the ferry.Translating
When one night turns into four. Choose your own pitch, 340 NOK per night for a camper.Translating
Beautiful place. Check-in is via a terminal. The current cost for a camper was 400 NOK; showers cost 20 NOK for five minutes. Clean sanitary facilities and all amenities, right by the water. Definitely a good spot.Translating
Very nice and quiet place with large pitches, park where you like and good facilities. Kitchen, showers (payable by card/NFC). Can recommend this place!
For us, this was the most beautiful place on the entire trip. Spacious pitches; you choose your own spot. The self-check-in system is very good and easy. Toilets are clean and well maintained. Great beach, and you can rent canoes.Translating
Dreamy sandy beach, with pitches of your choice on a meadow or in an open pine forest. Very good sanitary facilities. Canoes available. One hour from Kristiansand, perfect for arriving in Norway. There is also a strawberry stand directly next door selling berries from the field. We have already been here several times.Translating
A very pleasant, peaceful campsite. Spacious pitches and new sanitary facilities. Enough for us; during the high season there may be too few showers. We stayed here for four nights.Translating
Very nice place, also suitable for tents. We were delighted with the kitchen and cooked a really delicious meal today. Two electric stoves with four burners each, two ovens, a microwave, refrigerator and freezer, two kettles, and a coffee machine. It is best to bring your own pots, pans, and dishes.Translating
We stayed here on our return journey, before the Kristiansand ferry. One of the most beautiful and cleanest places on our Sweden/Norway trip, and one of the cheapest as well. Pitch 300 NOK, electricity 60 NOK (both easily paid at the machine). Shower: 20 NOK for five minutes, paid by card in the shower. During high season there may be a wait for the showers, as the site has many pitches.Translating
Well maintained, nice place by the lake, clean facilities, self check-in and payment. Clean water in the lake, beautiful beach, they rent a canoe. We stayed there for two nights. Both days we heard shooting from the woods, don't worry, it's just training.
Great place by the lake. Very clean sanitary facilities.Translating
Beautiful place with wonderful access to the water and a sandy beach. However, there are only a few pitches in the front row. Everything costs extra: washing machine and dryer 50 NOK each, shower 20 NOK for five minutes of hot water. There are only two showers with card payment, so there was always a queue. Great for children, though, with a large meadow, playground, beach, and boats for rent (50 NOK per hour).Translating
Beautiful and tidy campsite. We did not stay long, but there is plenty to do in the area, especially with children. Fine sanitary facilities and a beautiful location by the lake.Translating
Great stop before or after the ferry, about one hour away—we stopped here on both journeys. Sufficient sanitary facilities; showers can be paid for with coins or a credit card. Free choice of pitch. Be careful: the meadow can quickly become flooded during heavy rain. A great place to arrive at the start of a holiday, relax at the end, swim, and enjoy the peace and quiet. We would return anytime!Translating
Municipal campsite, clean sanitary facilities, hot water for an extra fee, lake and sandy beach nearby.Translating
Beautiful campsite. Everything is organized very simply. We were lucky to get a spot right by the water. A great opportunity to recharge before catching the ferry. Rowboats and kayaks can be rented easily. We would come back.Translating
Beautiful location in the forest, directly on the lake, with modern sanitary facilities. The Wi-Fi was good. A small town and grocery stores are easy to reach by bicycle.Translating
A beautiful site where we could choose our own pitch. We used the kitchen instead of cooking in the camper. Modern, clean sanitary facilities. Good value for money!Translating
Very large but good site out of town on lake with lovely views. Excellent sanitary facilities with new card system to pay for showers. Grey and black waste drain unfortunately on a slope so always spillages. Check in and Pay at machine after finding free space. 4m fire rule between vans is excellent to stop too close camping! Distant firing range noise early evenings depends on wind direction.
Beautifully located, partly shaded site beneath pine trees. Incredible views with access to the beach and water. Clean sanitary building and hot water. Excellent services for filling and emptying tanks. The downside for us was a military firing range nearby, with noise continuing into the evening. The operator comes by in the evening and supplies everyone with shower tokens, although the time is unknown. We would still return.Translating
Beautiful view, free choice of pitch, payment at machines. Shower: 20 NOK coin for five minutes. I briefly contacted the operator by phone, and he came directly to reception. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the sanitary facilities were fairly new. Clean dishwashing kitchen.Translating
Very beautiful, peaceful location by a lake with a sandy beach. Unfortunately, the weather was bad, so we could not fully enjoy the setting. The sanitary facilities were very clean and tidy. Obtaining coins for the washing machine was difficult. According to the notice, the operator is supposed to make a round in the evening and sell them, but you cannot recognize him. Photos at the information point would be useful.Translating
Incredible campsite, communal kitchen, new showers and sanitary facilities, 360-degree view of the lake, and boat rentals. One night in a Norwegian postcard setting, all for €28. The price is for the pitch without electricity, regardless of the number of people.Translating
Since it was very nice having a spot directly on the beach, we stayed for two days. Unfortunately, there are no hiking trails accessible directly from the site. The water is still "very" refreshing.... Very quiet location.
The site was very full, but we managed to get a spot late on Friday afternoon. Checking in with the machine was easy. Showers cost 20 NOK for 5 minutes. Cold showers are always available. Cleaning once a day. In the morning, it is better to bring your own toilet paper. The washing-machine coins are apparently only available at reception, which is not always open. We liked it here.
The site itself was very nice; we stayed two nights directly by the water among the trees. We liked the free choice of pitch and self-check-in. A major disadvantage was that most of the washrooms were very dirty. Toilet paper was also often missing. Shower and laundry tokens could only be bought in the evening at the kiosk, which was open from 6 to 8 p.m.
Quite nice overall; we only stayed one night as a short stopover.
Super beautiful site, surrounded by water. Everything modern, clean, and well maintained. Check in at the machine, then choose your own spot.
