This flat forest parking area at the entrance to the Elbe River Landscape Biosphere Reserve is a quiet starting point for hikes. The Elbe is about a 5-minute walk away, and a bank and bin are available. Many dog walkers arrive in the morning, while the isolated setting can feel unsettling at night.

Very nice and quiet parking space located directly on the forest and close to the river. In the morning, many dog walkers come here. Traveling alone as a woman, I was a little bit spooked here at night.
This is a beautiful place to spend the night. Occasionally a dog walker passes by. It is a five-minute walk to the Elbe, where the dog can swim. Beautiful surroundings.
We had a wonderful stay here, absolutely quiet and almost level.
Wonderfully quiet, as described. Actually follow the bridleway, even if it does not look right at first... Facilities: bench, rubbish bin, forest as far as the eye can see.
We spent one night there in a converted Ducato. Very quiet and relatively level. There is a rubbish bin on site. In the morning, many people come with their dogs. Therefore, park neatly!
