8 Salamanca Pasealekua, 20003, Donostia
Been here?
A short-stay parking area very close to Donostia’s city centre and beach, useful only for a brief visit. Parking is limited to 1 hour and 30 minutes, costs 3,65 euro for 1.30h, cannot be extended, and is strictly controlled. Overnight stays are prohibited, with a high risk of fines or towing. A recent report describes multiple campervans being broken into and robbed.

July 29 2026 our camper and 6 others were broken into and robbed! They cracked up the window, took computers, cameras, passports, cash, clothes, kitchen equipment, tools etc. All 7 vans upside down inside and even broke our bed! Police took +90min to arrive and we gave them our computer’s exact location but the Police did NOTHING! Moroccans do what they want in Spain! It’s a lost country!
Very inconvenient! I advise against trying to find parking in the town centre, especially during high season.
Very good location for visiting the town; overnight stays are forbidden. Be careful not to park in the red/blue zone reserved for residents, as checks are frequent. Use the blue and red zones instead. Apparently the fines are hefty, and vehicles may even be towed.
The car park was good and felt safe. However, the one-and-a-half-hour parking limit is very short and enforcement is strict.
Parking is limited to no more than 1 hour 30 minutes and is expensive (€3.65 for 1.5 hours). You cannot extend your stay, and the risk of a fine is high. Useful only for a very brief visit to the town centre.
