21 Lancaster Avenue, ST13 6AX, Leek
Been here?
This free leisure-centre overspill car park is a flat, quiet stopover beside a large park, about a 10 min walk from Leek town centre. The spaces appear car-sized, so it is best suited to smaller campers, although a 6.4m coach-built vehicle has used it. There are no restrictions mentioned, and the sports pitch may create occasional ball noise. The leisure centre is currently being rebuilt.

Brilliant spot for a walk and an overnight stay. The Leisure Centre is still being built, but once it is open, it will add to the stop as you can hopefully get to use their showers.
Quiet all night. If there are people playing football at the sports pitch would suggest using the far end of the car park in case a ball comes over. Nice stopover ready to head into the Peak District.
fabulous spot for the night, very flat, next to a lovely big park, great for dogs, felt very safe, lovely 10 min walk into town with some lovely cafes and shops, definitely recommend
We parked for free in an afternoon and walked into town, which is about 10 mins. The spaces seem to be car-sized, but our camper is small so it was no problem.
Parked here last week on an overnighter to use some of the lovely pubs in Leek town centre. No other vans were present. The car parked is well used in the day but empty overnight. There is currently a major rebuild of the leisure centre ongoing but we didn’t hear any noise early morning from there. Lovely park right by the stop to walk the dog.
