Dike-side site, beach access

We felt very comfortable at this site. We paid €25 online for one night and could access the beach and the seawater outdoor pool free of charge. There is a nearby restaurant with delicious food. You can use the campsite’s sanitary facilities. The pitches were sufficient for us.✦Translating

Whoever developed this site for so much money should be fired. Almost all cars from the campsite drive behind the motorhomes; there is peace only from 1 to 3 p.m. because the barrier is closed. A lot of money for nothing. Services defective, but they are happy to take the €26. Nobody sits at the payment booth; nobody saw anything and nobody knows anything. The pitches separated by wooden posts are mostly far too narrow. After work, the staff race behind the motorhomes at the permitted 10 km/h as if there were a prize. We stayed outside the barrier. Everything was basically fine. However, nobody observes the 10 km/h speed limit, so people accelerate wildly and then slam on the brakes at the next bend. A beautiful motorhome site near the sea. The outdoor pool is directly next to the site and included in the price, as is beach access. We stayed from October 15 to 16, 2024. After asking around a little—even the employee did not really know where or how—and some back and forth, we managed to pay. Front-row pitch with a view of the North Sea and kites in the air. Disposal facilities excellent and easy to reach. I had been looking forward to the sea so much after a long drive. The site actually closes on October 6, but on October 3 nobody was allowed onto the site anymore, although half the site was still occupied. Overnight stays are also forbidden in front of the kite field. You may stay there until 10 p.m., but not spend the night. It is hard to understand.

Beautiful site for two or three nights. Electricity at €1 per kWh is not particularly cheap. The campsite’s sanitary facilities can be used. When registering, you receive a card to use the facilities. Everything is very clean here. There is a large area for dogs, and the campsite even has an off-leash area. We will definitely come again. :-)

The location is fantastic. The price includes access to the beach and use of the heated saltwater outdoor pool. You also need the camper card for the showers to access the toilets. For budget travelers: the outdoor pool has a communal shower. The kitchen with washing-up facilities is freely accessible from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. The simple fish snack bar on the other side of the harbor is recommended.

Popular, beautifully located motorhome site. The pitches are somewhat narrow. The service and disposal facilities are very accessible.

Best motorhome site on the North Sea coast. Clean showers and toilets, beautiful views, and lovely staff. Completely fair at €22 per 24 hours!

A beautiful site overlooking a large kite field. Great for children—ours is three years old—to run around within sight. Bread pre-order service is only for campsite guests, but you can buy bread at the kiosk. Water is currently free because the coin slot on the machine does not work. Wi-Fi on the first three pitches is rather poor, but that was not important to us.
