Been here?
This shaded campsite near Munich lies close to the highway, so traffic can be heard, although recent stays also describe quiet nights. The older sanitary facilities are generally clean, with hot showers costing 1 euro per use. A bus stop is directly outside, and Munich city centre is reachable in about 30 minutes by public transport. A small snack bar or restaurant is available at the entrance, with laundry costing 5€ and the dryer 1€/7min.

Quiet campsite, but I find it expensive for 2 adults and 2 children: €94 for 2 days. We also have to find our own place to park. €1 for a hot shower, and €5 for the washing machine and dryer (€1/7 minutes). I am deducting 2 stars because the sanitary facilities are not great, and there are no shower curtains.
Nice campsite, very convenient for visiting Munich; a bus and a train and you're off, taking about 25–30 minutes to get directly to the center.
Very pleasant, shady campsite, ideal for getting to central Munich. The bus stop is right at the campsite entrance; you are in the city center in 30 minutes. The campsite is quiet and has a good little restaurant. The showers and toilets are clean and regularly maintained. I recommend this place.
Its main strength is definitely its location, with excellent connections to the city center. Motorhomes that are not Euro 5 cannot enter the center. This campsite on the outskirts of Munich is perfect. It has decent facilities, paid showers (€1), but hot water is free at the sinks and washing-up basins. Washing machine €5 and dryer €0.50 for 7 minutes. You can choose any pitch.
Even if they told us by phone they have always a free pitch for a van when we arrived they were full. I've explained to the reception the situation and a friendly guy has allowed me to park in a very little space but for me was ok after a long trip. Very quiet night. Old but clean toilets and showers. 33€/night for 2 adults + 1 dog
Uncomplicated staff; pitches are not assigned. During our stay, many people spent a long time looking for a place. The pitches are very small. All facilities are very old. With your own toilet and washbasin, however, it is an ideal campsite for exploring Munich. Very good public transport connections.
Recommended! Ideal for visiting Munich without a car. Two nights cost €66 (2 adults, 1 van without electricity), plus a hot 5-minute shower for €1. Excellent little snack bar at the entrance. Pitches are more or less large and shaded. Yes, you can hear the motorway, but it is not bothersome at all for sleeping! Bus 164, then the S2 suburban train to get to the city center and travel around by public transport for €19.70.
Friendly welcome. We were there from June 25 to 27, 2026; plenty of free pitches to choose from. Showers very clean! A headlamp helps with the darkness at night. Tickets are no longer sold at reception, but can be bought from the machine on the bus (cash or card). Ideal for visiting Munich and we would gladly return!
Excellent campsite, dated but very clean; I can only recommend it. €38 for 2 adults and a 7.5 m motorhome. Marienplatz, right in the city center, can be reached in 30 minutes. Restaurants open until midnight. Bus stop in front of the campsite. Take bus 164 to the city center, change at the third stop, and take the S2 (16 minutes). Hot shower for a fee. I would return with my eyes closed. Bye.
There is a bus stop in front of the campsite, from which you can reach the city center in 20 minutes. There is a place to wash clothes and dishes, bathrooms, and a water dump. Restaurant on the campsite included.
Sanitary facilities very dirty. You can get into the city easily, but unfortunately this site has no other advantages to offer; it serves its purpose.
This campsite really confirms the poor reviews beforehand. The sanitary building is old, very grimy, and partly moldy. Overall, it is only recommended if you just want to spend the night and then continue driving. Suitable only for passing through and if you do not expect much… although cleanliness should be essential at this price.
It would be difficult to find worse value for money: dilapidated and dirty sanitary facilities in containers, no lighting at night, muddy pitches. All this for €32 per day plus paid showers and a €20 deposit; you wonder why.
Decent facilities overall, somewhat dated bathrooms, easy to reach and fairly close to the center. But I want to address those who, like me, have a well-behaved dog: they charge for the dog, but there is no equipment dedicated to dogs. At some campsites I have found a small room for washing paws, for example. Here, nothing, but the dog still costs money. For this reason I am taking one star off this otherwise top facility.
Camping?? I don't think it can be called that. One star for the large trees and shade, and for the friendly and helpful reception staff. Everything else… completely negative. The bathrooms are dirty, foul-smelling barracks, and the laundry area is extremely messy and dirty, with a drain smell. There is no lighting at all, so at night you walk around the campsite in darkness. The motorhome pitches are separated by hedges; some are very narrow and others wider, and you choose where to park. All have electrical hookups. We paid €37 per night for a motorhome, 2 people and a dog, plus a €20 deposit refunded at checkout. There are not many options around Munich. Fine for a couple of nights if you do not need to use the facilities, with easy access to the city. Bus stop opposite, connecting to train/metro.
It is very easy to reach Munich by public transport (bus + train). A nice shaded campsite among the trees. The downsides are that there is no water at the pitches and the showers cost extra even though you pay the camping fee.
Near the motorway and the Paulaner headquarters. Dated campsite, very old but clean bathrooms, paid showers. Near the bathroom block there is a kitchenette, sinks for washing dishes, and a dinner table. Shaded pitches; it remains somewhat dark and damp. €34 for three people with a van under 6 m, for one night.
Stayed on July 22 and 23, 2025. Campsite with good connections to Munich (35–40 minutes); transport tickets are sold at reception. The receptionist was friendly, helpful, and spoke satisfactory English. Pleasant beer garden 15 minutes away on foot. Large pitches, separated by hedges and shaded. Clean and spacious sanitary facilities. All for a reasonable price considering the location.
There is not really much choice in Munich, so this one still had spaces. The campsite is decent and inexpensive compared with the rest of Bavaria. For cyclists, the center is about 14 km away, which is very convenient! The sanitary facilities deserve a good renovation and more frequent cleaning given the many arrivals and departures.
Simple campsite with a €1 paid shower. But at €30 per night, there is nothing to complain about. Clean sanitary facilities. The motorway is next to it but was not too bothersome for us. A good alternative for visiting Munich by bicycle: 11 km from the center, entirely on cycle paths. I recommend it.
Stayed 2 nights and location great for the city with a bus stop right outside. 3 stops and change for the S bahn. In the centre in 35 mins. Day tickets for the transport sold at reception. Nice little bar and restaurant on site and bathrooms, although old, were clean and adequate. Friendly staff. Would use again.
Very well-equipped campsite. The motorway next to it is nevertheless somewhat noisy.
A lot of nature inside camping place, but shabby shower and toilet facilities. Not clean. Maybe nice shadow under trees when sunny days. However, because of rain there was mud everywhere. There were no reserved places but people just drive around to find suitable slot.
Unbeatable price: €121 for 3 nights for 2 adults and 2 children, or €40 per night. €1 for the shower, sanitary facilities okay. Washing machine €5 and a top-quality dryer! Perfect for visiting Munich, bus stop at the entrance, 3 stops and then the S-Bahn 2 to reach the center. We took the group day ticket for €19.80. Machine available on the bus or online (easy). Motorhome services okay.
Plenty of space, clean toilets and showers. A pleasant little restaurant and bar. We really enjoyed this campsite before going to visit Munich.
€40 per night for four people with electricity included, hot shower for a fee, and a sink for washing dishes with hot water. There is a sandwich bar inside. The site needs renovation; bathrooms are acceptable. Excellent connection to the center (25 minutes by bus and train). A campsite with great potential but poorly managed: vehicles are parked chaotically, meaning everyone takes up much more space than necessary. Excellent dump for chemical toilets, with water fill points around the site.
A completely satisfactory campsite for visiting Munich. No frills, but it has the essentials: it is clean and reasonably priced. Well served by bus and tram to central Munich in 30 minutes. A good compromise.
