Coastal viewpoint, overnight parking prohibited

29th may, spoke to someone who stayed overnight here but the (genuinely) friendly warden had paid them a visit in the morning to explain this is illegal under national trust bylaws and they are monitoring it now.

Great parking spot overlooking the bay. Free for National Trust members, think we paid £4 for 2 hours. Lots of little cafes and toilet facilities a short walk away. No overnight parking permitted.

Stunning very spacious parking with clean toilets and two outside (very powerful and cold) showers. Free parking for national trust members. We had dinner here and noticed a few campers who had stayed the night without any issues out of season on a weekend

I've been coming here since I was a kid so yes, I am biased. Rhossili is a very special place. Fantastic views, rugged landscapes and a world class beach. Toilet block is functional (the 24/7 ones around the block are a bit more well looked after). Rubbish & recycling bins. Walk out to Worm's Head or at least the Coastal Lookout. Steep to the beach but worth it. No overnight but 5* for the wow!

Car park with a sensational view over Rhossili Bay, especially from the grass car park. It opened when we arrived shortly after 11. Beautiful walks. The beach is reached by a steep descent. We were pleased that it is free for National Trust members; otherwise it costs £10 for motorhomes. Overnight stays are forbidden, but in good weather you can spend a wonderful day there.✦Translating

The car park now costs £10 per day. It is a National Trust car park and free for members. However, spending the night there is prohibited. Several signs remind you of this.✦Translating

I arrived late with a mini-camper/passenger car and bought a day ticket very early in the morning via the app; it is valid until midnight. The machine only accepts coins; otherwise, buy a ticket in the shop from 9 or 10 a.m. There are spaces with great sea views, but the large meadow was only opened for parking at 11 a.m. (possibly depending on how full the upper section was?). It is closed at night! Watch out for the spike strip!✦Translating
