Canal parking, dusk closure

A small, quiet car park beside the Union Canal, with parking near the water and views of the aqueduct. Overnight camping is prohibited, and the entrance sign says the car park is closed from dusk until dawn. Aircraft noise can occur, while the access road is steep and has large potholes.

Very peaceful place, not far from the airport.
NEW NO OVERNIGHT CAMPING SIGN Stayed here Sat 29th July 23. Didn't notice the new sign as I turned in but as I left this morning I saw one had been added by Scottish Canals, whose car park this is. I advise campers to check when using other Scottish Canals car parks as the same new rules may apply. A real shame. It is a lovely spot with some fabulous views within a couple of minutes' walk.

Only a small car park, but a lovely spot. It is quiet apart from the sound of planes, although we barely noticed them.
A lot of fishermen, but very kind. A quiet place, though the road to get here is not beautiful. Nobody else stayed overnight. Planes flew overhead until 10 p.m. and from 6 a.m., but everyone slept well.
Beautiful quiet spot, but road into this area is a dirt track with huge potholes when I was there 12,8,21 otherwise lovely area
